Kyoto's hidden cherry blossom viewing spot 🌸 So beautiful that you'll be speechless!
Who among my family members understands? I found a hidden gem of a cherry blossom viewing spot in Kyoto, which is actually called the "Sakura Palace". It's really amazing💕
🔶Kumari Shrine
📍23 Saga Asahi-cho, Ukyo-ku, Kyoto City, Kyoto Prefecture
Although this place is niche, the cherry blossom lineup is not ambiguous at all! There are 15 different varieties of cherry blossoms planted in the shrine. The most famous one is the "Keisen Sakura" donated by the Japanese painter Tomita Keisen. It is so beautiful when it blooms! It is also close to Arashiyama, and there is a tram station at the door. After enjoying the cherry blossoms, you can go directly to Arashiyama for a stroll. It is so convenient~
🔶Transportation Guide
Directly navigate to "Shazhezhen Jinja Shrine", take the Arashiyama Main Line of the Arashiyama Line 🚇 to Shazhezhen Jinja Shrine Station, and you'll be there right after you exit the station, so hassle-free!
📷Photography tips
1️⃣There are beautiful cherry blossoms at the entrance of the shrine. Take photos while the train is passing by. It’s a perfect "heading to spring 🚄" photo with a great atmosphere!
2️⃣In the shrine, various types of cherry blossoms, such as Somei Yoshino, Yaezakura, Weeping Sakura, Kawazu Sakura, and Kanhi Sakura, compete with each other in beauty, and any photo you take is absolutely beautiful.
3️⃣The C position has to be the "Xixianying" in the middle, and you must take a few close-up photos with it!
⚠️Cherry Blossom Viewing Tips: Mid to late March is the best viewing period, don’t miss it, my dears~ And this shrine⛩️ is not just a great place to enjoy cherry blossoms, it is also very effective for praying for academic success, getting rid of bad luck, improving wealth and good relationships, so remember to come and make a wish! #TokyoSakura
