[2025 Perth Restaurant] Travel Guide for La Veen Coffee King street (Updated Feb)

Very delicious, balanced taste and I really like that there were lots of veg - spinach and rocket salad. Love the Rosti.. and it is Thick Rosti, so soft yet slight crispy. A great place for a delicious breakfast. I had the Eggs Benedict (smoked salmon) and my partner had the Grilled Halloumi, which was also delicious. The red pepper relish that comes with the Halloumi dish is very flavorful. The coffee was also very tasty. The restaurant was busy when we arrived on a Sunday morning, but within a few minutes, we got a table. And the coffee were good too. La Veen cafe is conveniently located on king street — where its super accessible to grab a hearty brekky or a quick coffee run. We went there for breakfast at around 7.30AM and there was a line for their coffee but there was lots of seats available which was great. The staff there were really friendly which made our visit very pleasant. Moving to their breakfast platter it was scrumptious! Their portion size was perfect and just enough. Everything was cook to perfection, my favorite has to be their creamy scrambled eggs & crispy bacon!

Had stumbled upon cafe while roaming around King street. It's actually slightly out of the way at the end of King street. This tucked away location is bound to help with less crowds. It is a small outfit with limited seating. There are some outdoor seats too and outside on King St is quite nice on a sunny day. The first time I came in kitchen was shut. In any case I had already eaten so I went for their chocolate mocha which was delightful. Having seen the menu and with a good experience I decided to stop by following morning for a brekky and got the breakfast wrap with a latte. They seem to have milk alternatives as well.
