Recently visited this farm with my family, the place is an ideal destination for the whole family, where there are plenty of activities such as feeding the calves with bottled milk, cattles & goats feeding, observing how milk is processed as well as the educational tour for all. If you have ever wondered how milk is collected and then commercialized, Desa Cattle Farm is the place to be. One of the highlights is they offers newly packed milk at the cafe( I love chocolate & coffee flavour), and you can also enjoys flavourful Gelato ice-cream. Visit to the Desa Cattle Dairy Farm are currently limited to three sessions daily with a limited number of visitors per each session. Sessions: 🐮 First session: 8.00 am – 11.00 am 🐮 2nd session: 11.00 am – 2.00 pm 🐮 3rd session: 2.00 pm – 5.00 pm Duration: 3 hours, entrance ticket: from RM8 Getting there: visitor can take mini bus or taxi from Jalan Padang Bus Station with direction to Kundasang/Ranau. Throwback my trip to Sabah. Desa Dairy Farm with these cutie cows. The air is quite cool at the mountain. I really enjoy the breeze, very comfortable. Unfortunately the fogs has cover the Mount Kinabalu. It's was so stunning. It's a good memory with beautiful natural scenery. Very suitable for family trip. Went here for the second times and I'm still in love with this place. This is a very nice place with beautiful view to enjoy the cattle from afar and up close they’re roaming freely within the fenced up meadow. Also one of the few places to see the real size and black and white colored cows in Malaysia! The view with mountain backdrop is marvelous when the sky is clear during good weather. The weather here is so cool with the fresh air. There is also ice-cream made from the fresh milk from the cattle. Do try their gelato, it fits perfectly with the vibe and weather there. However, it is too crowded and rowdy with tourists to enjoy the beautiful scenery. The area is huge with alot of activities such as calf and goat feeding as well as cow milking. The entrance fee is just rm5 per person. Overall, it is reasonably a good place to visit in Kundasang for a short few hours. Definitely a must place to visit when you come to sabah. Went there with all excitement until we saw a notice saying that the barn is closed due to biosecurity issue. It was ahuge disappointment for us especially we travelled. It could better if they can update the kind of issue in their page or Google.Now ticket you need to book online and limited visitor per day. You can choose morning or evening sessions. Great scenery with Mount Kinabalu background. Don't forget to get the gelato and fresh milk from their shop. #sabah

The lush greenery and herds of cattle seen at Desa Dairy Farm, also dubbed as "The Little New Zealand" of Sabah, has become very popular among tourists visiting Kundasang - especially families with kids. The farm covers more than 200 hectares and produces fresh milk and cheese from its herd of black and white cows. Visitors to the farm can expect a day full of fun and knowledgeable facts on the processing of fresh milk. During your visit, tourists can feed baby farm animals like cows and goats with bottled milk and grass as they take in scenic views of the expansive farm and Mount Kinabalu. And of course, you must stop by the shop to purchase some freshly-made yoghurt ice cream, cheese and milk.

Desa Cattle Dairy Farm is a dairy farm located at the foot of Mount Kinabalu in Kundasang Valley, Sabah, Malaysia owned by the Desa Cattle Sdn Bhd where most of Sabah's cow milk and dairy product been produced. Visitors are required to buy tickets online.

Desa Dairy Farm, Kundasang is a nice place with beautiful view to enjoy the cattle from afar and up close depends on the cattle as they’re roaming freely within the fenced up meadow. The view with mountain backdrop is marvelous when the sky is clear during good weather. Having said that, it is an educational place for children and family outing with viewing platform for the milking process, feeding baby goat and calf, etc. RM5 per entry for locals is reasonable. At the moment all the tickets are only available through their ticketing website. There is ice-cream, frozen yoghurt, assorted cheese and flavour yoghurt made from the fresh milk from the cattle selling there. Overall, it is reasonably a good place to visit for a short few hours, especially for family with kids. #bucketlistreboot

You can see the cows queue up and go to the stations and wait for breast feeding in orderly manner. Also you need to try the ice cream, its taste good.

It was a fantastic trip to Desa farm with different kind of experience and climate. Cooling winds feel like in NZ ambience. Closer look to those imported breed of cows were some thing special.. We also went to the Desa cafeteria for fresh milk and finger foods. At the same time go back with few packs of fresh milks and yogurts. The location is just beautiful - it looks like Europe and the cool air helps the feeling for sure! The farm itself was pretty standard with the usual professional equipment for milking and cows enjoying the succulent looking grass. We tasted the milk and of course it was really good as one would expect right at the farm. We spent about an hour there. There is a fee to enter the place per person. In the farm, there are few of activities to see and experience yourself such as cow milking, feeding the calf and of course, eating the milk products. Need a lot of walking in the place. Day trip to Kundasang and along the way you will able to see the Mount Kota Kinabalu which is highest mountain in the Malay Archipelago as well as the highest mountain in Malaysia. Mount Kinabalu is also the 20th most prominent mountain in the world by topographic prominence. I’ve been there more then 3x and I still amaze with it strong and unique shape. Insane. Mount Kinabalu is just casually sitting there looking majestic in every direction. We stopped by Desa Dairy Farm (feels like a mini New Zealand!). Cute cows, green hills, and super fresh milk and ice cream. Also hit up Poring Hot Springs, nothing like soaking in warm water surrounded by nature. The market vibes were chill too, grabbed some fresh veggies and tried a bunch of local food. Ngiu chap, steamed corn, and wild honey, so good! It’s not too touristy, which makes the whole place feel extra relaxing. Honestly, it’s perfect for a peaceful spring escape with epic scenery. If you're thinking about going, just go la. Kundasang’s a whole mood, and your camera roll will thank you.

Went for a day trip to Kundasang, Sabah from Kota Kinabalu. Kundasang is very beautiful city. We went to Kinabalu Park and take picture featuring the majestic of Mount Kinabalu, then to Desa Dairy Farm (please eat the ice cream here, it is super fresh and tasty), the we went to Spring Garden. Spring Garden is seriously feels like you are in heaven with all the fresh beautiful variety type of flowers. Worth the visit.

On the fifth day of our free trip to Mount Kinabalu in Sabah, Malaysia, we explore the natural beauty and ecological diversity of Kinabalu National Park. We made special arrangements to relax at Poring Hot Spring and visit attractions such as the Treetop Suspension Bridge, Butterfly Pavilion and Kunda Mountain Cheese Farm for a full and enjoyable day. Boling Spa: A great place to relax In the morning, we drove to Boring Hot Spring, about 40 kilometers from Mount Kinabalu. The hot spring water here contains sulfur minerals, which are said to have a healing effect on relieving sore muscles. We opted for the public footbath area and the free cold water pool also refreshed us. In addition, there are facilities such as outdoor mass pools, personal pools and family hot springs within the hot spring area, which can be used at a separate fee if required. Treetop Suspension Bridge: A wonderful experience through the tropical rainforest Next, we headed to the treetop suspension bridge near Poring Hot Springs. The suspension bridge is 105 meters long and about 60 meters at its highest point, suspended above the canopy layer of the tropical rainforest. Walking on the bridge, under your feet is a dense canopy of trees, surrounded by rich greenery, as if you are in a fairyland. Although there were some steep stairs along the way, the beautiful scenery along the way made us forget our fatigue. Butterfly Pavilion: Explore the diversity of tropical butterflies Near the treetop suspension bridge, we visited the Butterfly Pavilion in Poling. This is Borneo’s first butterfly house with gardens, nurseries and hatcheries dedicated to educating, researching and protecting endangered species. The museum displays a variety of colorful butterflies, giving us a deeper understanding of these beautiful insects. Kunda Mountain Cheese Farm: Savor fresh milk and beautiful scenery In the afternoon, we drove to Mount Kunda, which is famous for growing tea and dairy farming. We visited a well-known local dairy farm, tasted fresh milk ice cream and posed for photos with the cute little dairy cows. In this lush green farm, we felt the tranquility and harmony of nature. Stay Experience: Liwagu Porch Suite in Shenshan Park At the end of the day, we returned to Shenshan Park and checked into the Liwagu Porch Suite. This five-star accommodation offers a comfortable environment and excellent service.
