- National Theater of Costa Rica: A landmark building in San Jose with a history of over 100 years. The European-style building is decorated in a retro style. You can buy tickets to see the exquisite murals, sculptures, and architectural details inside.
- National Museum of Costa Rica: Located on Central Avenue, the museum houses artifacts from the Mayan period to the Spanish colonial period and modern times. You can enjoy a panoramic view of San Jose from the second-floor platform.

- Internal transportation: Uber is convenient in San Jose. There are also public buses, but the routes are complicated and the schedules are irregular. When taking a taxi, be sure to choose a licensed taxi and confirm the price before getting in.
