Laguna Redang Island Resort, set against a backdrop of silky smooth, sparkling white sand, crystal-clear waters and emerald hills. There is a small house reef at the corner of the beach just in front of this hotel, which makes it great for a quick snorkeling. However during peak holiday period (June - July), the hotel is nearly full with guests. The snorkeling trips that depart at 9.30 p.m. and 3.30 p.m. are in large boats which are crammed with guests. So if you go on this particular snorkeling jaunt, be prepared to see more people than fishes ;) On the other hand, the rooms are clean and well kept, great swimming pool and staff are attentive. If you like quiet resorts like I do, probably go during the off peak period (Feb - April, Oct - Nov). Note: If you are a friend of sharks, at 5.30pm daily hang around the house reef as the staff will bring you out feeding the sharks. It was a 4D3N trip to Redang Island with friends. After we touched down in Kuala Lumpur airport, we took bus to Terengganu (a state in Malaysia). We stayed at Terengganu for a day and departed to Redang Island on the next morning. During our 4D3N trip in Redang, we stayed at Laguna Redang Island Resort. The resort has to be booked at least 15days before the stay. The view of the resort was just too awesome and we really love it. We literally feel the best of mother nature 🏝️ We all love buffet and we find the dishes that were served are mainly local delights. The price is consider cheap and we find it very easy to eat at the resort after tired snorkeling 🤿 Laguna Redang Island Resort 📍 Pulau Redang, 21090 Kuala Terengganu, Terengganu, Malaysia I would recommend you to stay at Laguna Redang Island resort as they provide free boat and snorkeling services to their guests 🙌 The experience was amazing! We got to see different colour and types of fishes 🐠 , coral 🪸 etc. Besides from snorkeling, we also walked to the beach near to the entrance of the resort, where you can see three different colours of sea 🌊 under the sun. I would recommend you to take some nice pictures here as we spent half day walking around the beach 🏖️ The only downside of the resort is that the WiFi is not really working in our room, but WiFi at the lobby works very well. Having a good trip with friends on our holiday in Redang -Malaysia We are lucky to see the sea turtle when diving. The sea was very beautiful with greenlake and blue color. Getting There - I took by flight, and laguna staff will pick at airport Attractions - snorkeling and blue crystal water. Hotels - clean and super comfort! i love the view. Food & Restaurants - best food ever. They provide so many varities of food. also have BBQ. Overall, I’m very statisfied during my stayed. Staff very helpful and friendly! The most important is scenery and crystal blue water! Just only can snorkeling infront of the hotel. so many fish and coral. Book this hotel trough website and package. I thought that all the islands are the same, but every place really has her unique beauty. The popularity of Redang Island is due to a movie "Summer Tea" 18 years ago. Zheng Xiuwen and Ren Xianqi were really handsome men and women. The journey to Redang Island is a little tortuous. The sea, land and air triple transport, take the 7:00 morning flight from Kuala Lumpur to Kuala Terengganu, then transfer to the terminal in about 45 minutes, and take the speedboat for about 1.5 hours to reach Redang Island. When you set foot on this island, you will feel that it is all worthwhile. Check in is the best resort on the island, Laguna Redang Island Resort, which was built on the location of the movie "Summer Tea". Also known as the Summer Tea Resort, it is hard to say that although there are many tourists, the overall environmental protection is quite good, and the blue sky and clear water is really a place for the holiday to empty. Our trip on Redang Island is three days and two nights, including two nights accommodation, three trips to the sea for snorkeling (you can choose to participate), three plus two breakfast. Highly recommended! 🚢 Transportation and Transfers After arriving at Kuala Terengganu Airport, you can take a Grab to TTI Jetty and take the ferry provided by the hotel to the island. ✔️ Two ferries per day: 9:30 am and 12:00 pm; ✔️ Two ferries to leave the island: 9:00 am and 11:45 am. ⭕️ The ferry ride takes about 1.5 hours. If you miss the ferry, you will need to take a speedboat at your own expense, so it is recommended to allow 2–3 hours of buffer time when arranging flights. 🍜 Meals The resort offers three buffet meals a day with a wide variety of dishes, including main courses, steaks, salads, fruits, drinks, and soups, which are especially suitable for Chinese tastes! I personally love the food here. Port call at Redang island made my day. Laze on the hammock for a good hour before snorkeling for 2 hours. The water is so clear and the corals so colourful, especially gorgeous with the sunlight illuminating the seabed. The fishes were aplenty and literally in your face when you feed them. I hold my breath to hear the corals. Total serenity.
