You can also add wulong 武龙山 scenic spot to your Chongqing trip; however it will need an extra day as it takes one hour by train but I promise you, it will be awesome.

I was really moved by the beauty of Nanbin Road, a grass path leading to the riverside! The view from the Eye of the Yangtze River is very open with a panoramic view of the river, the confluence of two rivers, Raffles City, Dongshuimen Bridge 🌉, cruise ships 🛳️, and the sunset 🌇. I went there with my sisters to take photos 📷, and it instantly blew up my social media! The night view is also absolutely beautiful. How can you miss this check-in spot when traveling to Chongqing❓❗️ It's very large inside, over ten thousand square meters, and very beautiful 🤩 with hot pot 🍲, barbecue 🍖, afternoon tea 🍵, and dining bars. It has a woody scent mixed with mosquito repellent, quite interesting. They also have incense, postcards, bookmarks, etc., which are not expensive and suitable as souvenirs. Baixiangju is famous for its Chongqing residential characteristics and is a filming location for 'The Hidden Corner'. You can take pictures of the cable car passing through buildings there. It wasn't very interesting, but the Chongqing noodles at the corner surprised me a lot. The red oil was very rich and fragrant. 7 yuan for 2 liang of noodles, and I still wanted more after finishing a bowl. For dinner, we had Aunt Zhou's hotpot, located at the entrance of the Yangtze River Cableway. It was quite average and not recommended. After eating, we went to Chongqing Grand Theatre Riverside to see the night view of Hongya Cave. We hired a photographer for couple photos, 100 yuan for 5 poses, and ended up with 27 photos. The results were much better than phone photos, quite convenient. You can compare prices. Day2 Customs Spicy Tofu Pudding (p11) - Guanyin Bridge - Mountain City Trail - Mountain City Coffee (p10) - Kong Ma Hotpot (p9) If you don't eat well, you can't play well. We went straight to Customs Spicy Tofu Pudding in the morning. I recommend the three fresh spicy tofu pudding. Their dipping sauce is very delicious, highly recommended. Then we went to Guanyin Bridge to check in at the 'I am in Chongqing' spot. It still felt uninteresting, so we didn't stay long. There are many good eateries around Guanyin Bridge that you can explore. Mountain City Trail is built along the mountain with many interesting small shops. I bought some postcards and fridge magnets. There are some teahouses (Changle Old Teahouse, Mountain City Teahouse) where you can have tea. When there are fewer people, you can find a place to relax and chat. Kong Ma Hotpot was recommended by a local friend. You can add duck blood to the hotpot base. The base and dishes were excellent, especially the tender beef and braised chicken feet, which melted in your mouth. Their lemon tea was also very good. Highly recommended! Day3 Xiahao Old Street (p14) - Heshan Tea and Food Store (p15) - Nanbin Road - Zhongwa Double Pepper Eel Slices (p16) I recommend Heshan Tea and Food Store. The tea and snacks were very good. While drinking tea, the sky, which had been cloudy for a few days, suddenly cleared up. There were many people under the Nanbin Road Bridge. Walking by the river and enjoying the breeze was very pleasant. We planned to eat at a highly recommended local restaurant in the evening, but it only served lunch. We ended up at Zhongwa Double Pepper Eel Slices, which turned out to be surprisingly delicious. It was very popular with locals. The eel slices were very fresh, crispy, and bouncy, a texture I had never experienced before. Finding delicious food really makes you happy! Actually, we didn't visit many tourist spots in Chongqing this time, but we deeply experienced the city. The foggy city, let's meet again next time.

Chongqing is truly a magical city. The first time I came to Chongqing, I found it very relaxing and suitable for unwinding. I arrived in Chongqing at night, and after getting off the high-speed train, I casually hailed a yellow Ferrari. The driver quickly took me to the hotel after hearing that I hadn't had dinner. Honestly, the reputation of the yellow Ferrari is well-deserved; it's really suitable for a ride. I casually ordered some takeout and went to bed early that night. The next morning, I started walking towards Raffles City. Around noon, after getting lost, I discovered a place called Sister Lian's Old Hotpot. It seemed to be the legendary community hotpot, so I decided to give it a try. Not only was it affordable, but the beef tallow heavy spicy flavor was also very delicious, costing about 40 yuan per person. Actually, there are not many fun places in Chongqing, the main attractions are for checking in and taking photos, but there is a lot of good food. I recommend everyone to try the community hotpot and community restaurants, not only are the prices reasonable, but the flavors are also great.
