Natural scenery
Lake Haruna is a mountain top lake caused by volcanic activity. The lake water is clear and blue. Some people rent a boat with a fishing rod to go fishing in the middle of the lake and bask in the sun. There are not many tourists here, the scenery is beautiful and quiet, it is relatively quiet and suitable, but the public facilities are very complete. Because it is very close to Qiu Ming Mountain, there are often sports cars here to explore the way. Initial D fans must go!

~Take a leisurely stroll around the lakeside~
It is quite far from Takasaki Station, so Lake Haruna and Haruna Shrine are tourist spots that you should visit together.

[Lake Haruna] Fujiya
[Access]
○Take the bus from JR Takasaki Station to Lake Haruna.
It is about a 3-minute walk from the last stop, Lake Haruna.
[Points]
~Let's try the fried smelt~
Fujiya is a restaurant and accommodation establishment located along the shores of Lake Haruna.
It was very crowded at lunchtime when we visited, and it seemed to be a popular restaurant.
The thing you should definitely try here is the fried smelt.
Of course, you can order the smelt set meal, but they also have single items, so you can each order your favorite menu and share the fried smelt. Another nice thing about it is that it is an easy-to-eat size.

The changi
The changing leaves at Lake Haruna in Gunma Prefecture are incredibly beautiful. You can even see Mt. Harunafuji reflected in the lake. Traveling from Tokyo, get off at JR Takasaki Station and take the bus bound for Harunako. #TravelJapan #TravelJapanByYourself #TravelJapanTheCurrentFishCity #Japan #ReviewJapan #ChangingLeaves
