The private room of this Chinese restaurant exudes a nostalgic style. I like that it has a sofa where everyone can rest and chat. It is quiet and private. There are many dishes in the lunch set, and every time you take it out, it is full of surprises😍 🔹First taste of soup The soup made with fresh yam is salty and fragrant, and very warming to the stomach. 🔹Two snacks The two snacks have completely different tastes. The tofu granules have a thin skin and the tofu inside is very smooth. The radish is very spicy and has a special bite after being sliced. The spicy and sweet taste is particularly addictive. 🔹Bamboo Roll 🔹Taro cake It’s been a while since I’ve seen taro cake fried so thoroughly, and the long strips make it easy to eat. 🔹Red oil wonton 🔹25-year-old Dongjia tangerine peel egg white fish maw strips The taste is very special when you put it in your mouth. Frankly, compared with the size of the rooms that cost us similar amount of money, the room here was obviously less sizeable. However, the saving grace was that we were lucky enough to be offered a room on the upper floor overlooking the hustle and bustle below. The high ceiling of the room and the unique view outside could make up for the size matter of the room. If we were tourists from a non-Chinese background, we would've been amazed by the traditional Chinese style decoration of the room. But sadly we were Chinese locals, the old Chinese things looked a little hilarious if not comical to us. However, the location of the hotel couldn't be better because it was literally surrounded by loads of popular and famous restaurants including Lin Heung Kui 蓮香居, Kau Kee Food Cafe 九記牛腩, Tsim Chai Kee Noodle 沾仔記, etc. The room type we booked was the most purse-friendly which cost about $450 for each person How many stars did the hotel have? 3 star Highlight of the hotel? This hotel overall is very good in terms of pricing, location, environment and so on. Hotel nearby have few famous restaurants and shopping area. This is a four-star boutique hotel with Chinese design features, located in the Central and Sheung Wan commercial center of Hong Kong, close to Soho and Lan Kwai Fong. 🍸 The hotel's rooms are spacious and comfortable, with unique decorations and a strong oriental style. I can enjoy the night view of Hong Kong in the room🌃. The hotel's service was also very thoughtful. The front desk staff was warm and friendly, and helped me introduce nearby attractions and food. The hotel is close to the Soho bar area, but the hotel is decorated with traditional Chinese style as the theme, is a distinctive boutique hotel! The reception is located in the hotel's ground floor lobby, and check-in is simple. Pay a $300 deposit to get your key card to your room. The second floor is the Duck Barden Mansion, which is actually the restaurant's restaurant, serving new-style Chinese cuisine.
