Looking back to the future movie but it’s the Philippines version 100’s years ago! The place is very historical way back Spanish Period. Entering Las Casas you’ll feel the very old vibe of Manila when every staff is wearing barong and barotsaya, riding kalesa and eating authentic Filipino/Spanish food. I recommend going to Las Casas a bit pricy but it’s worth it! If you are into historical buildings, this place is just amazing! I didn't have the guts staying in an old colonial house after watching the movie "Mallari" but it is worth it for a day tour, where you have the guided tour, free lunch, free access to the tram, jeepney and the beach! I was even able to have "taho" a childhood comfort food. I brought my father with me, and the only problem is that the old house are not senior friendly. Located in the southwest of Luzon Island in the Philippines, close to Manila Bay on the Bataan Peninsula. It is a large-scale architectural museum and also a resort hotel🏨 About Transportation 1. It can be reached by a 3-hour drive from Manila 2. Or take a boat from the Esplanade Seaside Terminal pier in Manila for 1 hour, take the ferry to Bataan Province, arrive at Orion Port, and then a 40-minute drive to Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar. Although the journey is a bit circuitous, it's worth the visit! Hotel Introduction This architectural museum originated from the colonial history of the Philippines. The hotel owner collected many ancient buildings from the colonial period and bought 400 hectares of land to move these ancient buildings here intact. The resort has collected a total of 60 Spanish colonial buildings, 28 of which have been transformed into hotel facilities such as guest rooms, restaurants, churches, recreation rooms, bars, and banquet halls. #timetotravel Wow just wow. We didn't even know this place existed until we were in Bataan to visit our lot. We sae signages of it and we got curious so I researched about it and then we booked a day tour. Amazing historical place with really aestheitically old looking bulidngs. The landscapes and the overall vibe of the place could be used as a movie filming location. If we had more time in the Philippines we could have stayed atleast one night here. The overall experience of this place is awesome! Day Tour Ticket: 2500 per person which icluded all access to their amenities and 1 hour and 30 minutes with a guided tour inside. Amazing staff !
