We joined a local day tour that included horseback riding along the historic path, followed by kayaking at Lashihai. As someone who loves kayaking, I was excited, but the wind that day was exceptionally strong. Controlling the paddle became a challenge, and the wind pushed our kayak further and further away. No matter how hard I paddled, I found myself spinning in circles, unable to make any progress. It wasn’t until a staff member came to help that I finally managed to paddle back to the shore. It was a truly unforgettable experience. Despite Lashihai being a wetland park rather than a sea, making it feel more like kayaking on a lake, the outing was still enjoyable. this is my second time in lijiang and stayed in Dayan versus Shuhe. I had enough of beautiful shops and clothes shopping in the Ancient Village so the jade dragon tour wasn’t operating and the guy mentioned the wetlands lake so he drove me personally and it was stunning and beautiful like a bbq camp from the Hamptons or Rhode Island, it is not a place for kids activities, more for couples and photos with magnificent scenery and backgrounds to take photos and dozens and dozens of colorful roses. if your girl loves taking photos or you are with friends and dressed up in lijiang outfits…go! have fun taking scenic photos 👍😊
