Traveling from Tokyo is very convenient because there is a train arriving and we will transfer to a local train to the end of the line. After that, take a bus from the station to Lake Kawaguchiko to see Mt. Fuji by the lake. One of the check-in points that should be visited when visiting Japan #Travel to Japan by yourself #Travel to Japan

[Kawaguchiko|A moment of tranquility and magnificence]
When I woke up in the morning and opened the curtains, it was as if I had entered a painting - Mount Fuji was reflected on the mirror-like surface of Lake Kawaguchi. This is the legendary "Reverse Fuji". The "Tominoko Hotel" where I stayed was facing this view. You don't need to travel far, just sit quietly by the window to enjoy this wonder of magnificence and tranquility.
After breakfast, I rented a bicycle and rode along the lakeside. The Kawaguchiko Lake Trail is flat and comfortable, with lush greenery. On one side is the sparkling lake, and on the other side is the blue sky reflecting Mount Fuji. Even the air is filled with the fragrance and freshness of plants. On the way, I met several travelers who were also riding slowly. We nodded and smiled at each other, as if everyone was moving in the same quiet rhythm.
Unknowingly, I came to Oishi Park. This place is famous for seasonal flowers. June is the season when lavender blooms slightly, and the faint fragrance of flowers can be smelled from afar. Standing between the sea of flowers and the lake, Mount Fuji stands in the distance like a guardian god. Flowers, lakes and mountains form a natural and harmonious picture.
Lake Kawaguchi is not only charming, but also a place where people can slow down and return to their hearts.
Every moment here is worth collecting deeply❤️

Recommended one-day tour routes around Mount Fuji
Take the express bus from Shinjuku to Shimoyoshida at 7-8 am (buy tickets online in advance) -> arrive around 9 am
[1] First go to the [Hikkawa Watch Shop] to take photos (fewer people in the morning)
[2] Then go to [Arakurayama Sengen Shrine], where you can take photos of the five-story pagoda and Mount Fuji in the same frame
【3】After the event, take the train to Kawaguchiko Station and have lunch in advance. Stop by Kawaguchiko Lawson
【4】After lunch, take the red bus to Tenjoyama Park. Don’t miss the Mount Fuji Swing in the park. There is also a Kawaguchiko Cruise next to it.
【5】Continue to take the bus to [Koga Masao Memorial Park] and [Nagasaki Park]. This park faces Mount Fuji without any obstruction. It is very beautiful during the cherry blossom season and maple leaf season. Don't miss it. Go again
【6】 [Oishi Park] Buy souvenirs and rest. In the evening, return to Kawaguchiko Station. From Kawaguchiko, take the express bus between 7-8pm or return to Tokyo.
* If you don’t have enough time to choose only one of the three parks, it is recommended to go directly to Dashi Park.

I just visited the Lawson convenience store with the famous Mt. Fuji background🗻
I went to Lawson, famous for its Mt. Fuji background, on a bus tour;)
I wondered if I could see Mt. Fuji because it was cloudy, but fortunately I could, so I was able to take good pictures
On the other hand, since it was a must-see course for all bus tours, there were so many people,,
No matter where I took pictures, there were people everywhere🥲
That was a bit disappointing
But it was a really fun trip because I saw famous tourist spots😎

Cherry Blossoms in Art
Cherry blossoms have inspired many artists over the years. In Japan, they are often painted in traditional art called "ukiyo-e." These are woodblock prints that show nature, people, and daily life. Cherry blossoms also appear in poems, songs, and films. Many writers use them as a symbol of beauty or sadness. In modern times, cherry blossoms are used in fashion, design, and even tattoos. People like their soft colors and gentle shapes. They give a feeling of peace and beauty. Artists from many countries use cherry blossoms to show feelings like love, hope, and the passing of time.

A Day with Fuji
📅 Itinerary
Day 1:
* Oshino Hakkai
* Lake Kawaguchi
* Lawson Fujikawaguchiko Town Hall (This Lawson is famous for its clear view of Mt. Fuji. On rainy days, people often edit funny pictures in the background to show where Mt. Fuji should be.)
* Nikkawa Watch Stop
Day 2:
* Fujisan Ladder Town
* Arakurayama Sengen Park
🏨 Accommodation
Highland Station Inn Cabin & Lounge >> This is a luxury capsule hotel. It was very nice and offered many amenities, including pajama rentals! It’s conveniently located next to a train station that connects to famous landmarks just 2-3 stations away. You can also reach Tokyo via the same line in just a couple of hours!
🍴 Food Recommendations
I loved the sticky rice balls and Wagyu beef (apparently, the soil enriched with lava makes the grass better, which is what the cows eat). They also have many seasonal flavors, like lavender ice cream, that are worth trying!
📌 Tips
* I discovered a website that predicts visibility out of 10.
* I underestimated the weather difference between China and Japan. It was quite cool, so a hoodie or jacket is essential. It might be common knowledge, but as a first-timer, make sure to check the weather!

Chasing Mt. Fuji…
🏔️I chose a low visibility day to see Mt. Fuji in Fujikawaguchiko (unbeknownst to me). I actually didn’t mind because it was ominously beautiful. I’m really glad I did the tour from Tokyo to Fujikawaguchiko. It was seamless and I learned a lot. There were so many Instagrammable locations and lore I’ve never heard of!
Itinerary:
•Oshino Hakkai
•Lake Kawaguchi
•Lawson Fujikawaguchiko Town Hall
•Nikkawa Watch Stop
•Fujisan Ladder Town
•Arakurayama Sengen Park
I did however only book a short trip so I decided to leave my tour group at the last stop to catch a glimpse the next day as the visibility was 10/10. Here’s to hoping!
✨Helpful hints:✨
•I found out that there is a website that predicts the visibility out of 10.
•I also really underestimated the weather difference between China and Japan. It was quite cool. A hoodie or jacket will really come in handy. Maybe it’s common knowledge but as a first timer, please check the weather!😂

LAWSON Kawaguchiko: A Stunning Photo Spot
LAWSON Kawaguchiko Station Front Store has become one of the most famous photo spots in Kawaguchiko in recent years. During my visit, I was lucky to have clear weather. The neat and square building with its blue and white signboard gleamed under the sunlight, creating a stunning picture with Mount Fuji in the background.
Last year, due to the surge in tourists, LAWSON had to use a 'black curtain' to block the photo angles. When I visited in November, the curtain had been removed. Unfortunately, there were still many tourists, making it difficult to capture a photo without people in it.

It turned out to be a fortune poem! !
I fell in love with this Mount Fuji-shaped thing at first sight. It’s also very cheap, maybe 500 yen? I kind of forgot where I bought it, but I bought it at the Sengen Shrine near Lake Kawaguchi. I think it can be bought near Mount Fuji. The bread looks great in photos and is very soft and dense, but it was a pity that I went too late and didn’t get to eat the pudding. There were really too many people queuing up to check in at Lawson convenience store. The weather happened to be very good, so I took a picture of Mount Fuji 🗻!

Lawson Kaw
Lawson Kawaguchiko store is also a popular check-in spot for internet celebrities and one of the most famous tourist attractions. If the weather is clear, you can see Mount Fuji from the store. Recently, as the number of tourists visiting Japan taking photos in the spacious parking lot in front of the store has increased, store staff have said, "Behaviors such as littering are annoying. We don't want them to come."

Go see Mt.
Go see Mt. Fuji. Take a direct train from Shinjuku Station to Fuji. The weather is very cold. There is scattered snow on the ground. The view is very good. The sky is clear.

A Convenience Store with a Million-Dollar View: Lawson and Mount Fuji
#japantrip #thingstodo #mountfuji #conveniencestore #lawson #tokyo #travel #japan #daytrip
Imagine grabbing a coffee or onigiri from a Lawson convenience store while gazing at the towering beauty of Mount Fuji—sounds unreal, right? But in Fujiyoshida, there’s a Lawson that has become an attraction in itself thanks to its unbeatable backdrop of Japan’s most iconic mountain. When I visited, I was amazed at how perfectly Fuji loomed over the store, making even a simple snack break feel special. It’s a fantastic photo spot, especially in the early morning when the sky is clear. Easily accessible by bus or train from Kawaguchiko Station, this Lawson isn’t just a convenience store—it’s an experience!

Convenience Meets Beauty: Lawson with Mt. Fuji as the Perfect Backdrop
In the heart of my Japanese road trip, I pulled over to a Lawson convenience store, not expecting much beyond a quick snack or drink. But as I stepped out, there it was—Mt. Fuji, standing majestically in the background, framed perfectly by the store’s glass doors. The contrast between the familiar, modern convenience of Lawson and the timeless beauty of Japan’s most iconic mountain felt almost surreal.
As I sipped my drink and grabbed a quick bite, I couldn’t help but pause and appreciate the moment. It was a snapshot of everyday life juxtaposed with nature’s grandeur—reminding me how Japan blends the ordinary and extraordinary. The scene felt like a perfect metaphor for travel: sometimes, the most surprising moments come when you least expect them, even in the most mundane places.

The check-in spot of "Fujisan LAWSON" will be blocked soon and you will not be able to check in after the Golden Week!
The "LAWSON Kawaguchiko Station Front Store" in front of Kawaguchiko Station is one of the popular check-in spots in recent years. With Mount Fuji as the background and LAWSON's unique blue and white sign, you can have a clear view of the beautiful scenery of Mount Fuji without any obstruction.
Recently, local residents, unable to tolerate the disturbances and bad behavior of various visiting tourists, decided to use "black curtains" to block the shooting angles.
This measure is expected to be implemented after Japan's Golden Week, so travelers who plan to go there to take photos should be careful not to miss out!
