💗Other Tips: Liaoning Tuanshan National Marine Park is a national marine special protection area established with the approval of the State Oceanic Administration on December 1, 2014. The protected area is located on the coast of Liaodong Bay in the Bohai Sea, along the coast of Gaizhou City, Yingkou City, with a total area of 4.46 square kilometers, including 3.20 square kilometers of sea area. The protected area is divided into key protection zones, ecological and resource recovery zones, and moderate utilization zones.
The park covers an area of 2.08 million square meters and is planned into botanical garden areas, amusement park areas, beach leisure areas, island fishing village areas, and seaside hotel areas. It features a historical and cultural corridor, Red Beach, Colorful Garden, Sculpture Garden, Agricultural Garden, Maze Garden, Bonsai Garden, Jiulong Spring, Beihai Zen Temple, beach bathing area, beach sports field, marine erosion landscape, Happy Island, commercial area, and seaside hotel area, forming "one belt, seven zones, and twenty-nine attractions." The tourist area includes a long beach with clear water for swimming, marine erosion reefs for exploration, quiet capes for fishing, and ancient fortresses for historical exploration.
We arrived around 11 AM, and the tide had already receded. We caught many small crabs, shrimps, and fish on the coastal mudflats. Around 1 PM, the tide came in, and we strolled inside the park, finding many photogenic spots.
