[2025 Ho Chi Minh City Stay] Travel Guide for Liberty Central Saigon Citypoint (Updated Mar)

When I book my hotels on Trip.com I will compare the price difference for room with/without breakfast. This is a good tip for everyone to decide whenever you make a booking. For my Liberty Central Saigon Citypoint Hotel, having breakfast included will only cost me about $9/pax based on 2 pax occupancy. So $9 for hotel breakfast at a 4-star hotel in Ho Chi Minh city is worth paying. However, if you are not a breakfast person then do not take the rate with breakfast. The breakfast has Vietnam pho station which is Vietnamese noodles, and you can choose to add on beef or chicken or none. Then you add on the vegetables and dip the meatball with Vietnamese chilli. I ate their breakfast for 3 mornings and it was not boring. Once you land at Tan Son Nhat International Airport, it is a quick 30 mins airport transfer to District 1. For this #hotelreview I will showcase Liberty Central Saigon Citypoint Hotel. There are several Liberty Hotels in HCMC and this Liberty Central Saigon Citypoint Hotel is right in the heart of the bustling District 1. You can walk over to Saigon Centre and Takashimaya within 2 minutes. Some places of interests are easily walkable too. For example, 5 minutes walk to Opera house, 6 minutes walk to Ben Thanh Market and so on. If you are feeling less adventurous, you can order food and drinks using their local delivery app too. I like to highlight this hotel for being wheelchair friendly as compared to the other hotels. At their lobby entrance, a barrier free ramp is available and there are three spacious elevators at the lobby. I was assigned to a non-bathtub room which is spacious and able to fit a wheelchair as well. There are no additional doors at the shower area which makes it even easier too. The room has a good space area of about 23 to 24 sqm and even with an extra bed added, there is still space to walk around. Every staff is so friendly and helpful and able to speak English fluently so there is not much of language barrier. They also have in-house spa at the top floor and open till late. I will revisit this hotel berry soon. My stay was in September 2023 and I paid $444.65 for 3 nights stay after using promo codes.

Address - 59 Pasteur (opposite Saigon Centre/Takashimaya) Ambiance/Facilities - there’s a CGV cinema inside this hotel for your late night movie 🎥. Weekday ticket costs 60,000VND. There’s also a spa with reasonable price but I haven’t tried yet. The lobby is grand and spacious with sitting area where you can wait for your taxi/grab. You can opt for breakfast but since we booked this hotel for its location, we prefer to venture outside for food and coffee. Highlights - rooftop bar with nice view of Saigon at night Room - simple with all the required amenities for your stay. The bed is a bit too soft to my liking. The soundproof is pretty okay as we had good night sleep here. Avg. Price per Person - $60 Rating - 4/5
