Train runs through a 19-story building One of the most unseen cool Liziba Station🚄 At first I thought they reclaimed the land and the owner refused to move. Actually that's not true. They designed and built the train line and this building by engineers and architects from Chongqing University They built them at the same time but did not use the same structure✨ Some people say that the noise will definitely disturb people in the building But no!! The Chinese are the most advanced. They installed a special type of noise-reducing device that will be turned on when the train is about to arrive at the station It helps reduce the noise from the train to the same level as the sound of a dishwasher 75.8 decibels only. As for Liziba Station, it is located on the 6th-8th floor of the building. After taking pictures, don't forget to take pictures downstairs. From the city center of Chongqing, you can catch the metro by getting a metro card from a machine (translates to English) for a one way ticket to Liziba station. The metro line is simple and easy to use. It cost me 4¥ for 2 travellers to travel from Linjiangmen to here. The train goes right into the building which you can see in the pictures. Follow the many stairs down to the viewing platform (do not bring small children or a push chair as there is no elevator) and you can view the train going straight into the station. The wait time between the trains each way is around 2-4 minutes. #chinatravelitinerary I wanted to visit Chengdu since I was a little girl... now over 10 years later I finally made it! I only had one weekend to visit China, and now that visa is not needed for tourism purposes I decided to go even though it was a short time! I landed in Chengdu on Saturday at 6pm and took the metro to my hotel. I booked it near the Chunxi Road Pedestrian Street but I was too tired after travelling the whole day and only sleeping two hours the previous night so I couldn't go and just rested in my hotel room. In the morning I woke up and booked a DiDi (a taxi app like Uber) to take me to the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding. It was a really huge place and home to over 50 pandas! There is a bus that takes visitors around the base and I definitely recommend using them. 📍1375 Xiongmao Blvd, Chenghua District, Chengdu, Sichuan, China, 610016 After I finished my journey around the panda base and seeing all the cuties I took another DiDi to the Chengdu East Railway Station. From there I took a train to Chongqing West Railway Station and arrived in Chongqing around 5pm. After checking in at my hotel and resting for a little bit, I took the metro to Liziba station - the famous station you have seen in all the Chongqing reels on social media! Yes- the one with the train going through a residential building! I took some photos and videos and got really hungry so had a delicious bowl of noodles at a nearby restaurant. The lady there was so kind and made them less spicy for me. 📍No. 39, Liziba Zhengjie Street, Yuzhong District, Chongqing The final stop of the day was Hongyadong - an 11-story complex of stilt buildings that is lit up with many lights and looks especially breathtaking at night. Even though it was already after 9pm there were so many people and all the shops and stalls were still open. This place is so beautiful I definitely recommend visiting! From the moment I arrived, I was struck by its dramatic skyline, where towering skyscrapers stand against mist-covered mountains. The city's layout is a labyrinth of steep streets, hidden alleyways, and winding staircases—earning it the nickname "The Mountain City." One of the highlights of my trip was visiting Hongya Cave at night. The glowing golden lights reflected off the Jialing River, making it look like a scene from a cyberpunk movie. The streets were bustling with people, the air filled with the aroma of sizzling skewers and hotpot broth. Speaking of hotpot, no trip to Chongqing is complete without it. The fiery broth, rich with Sichuan peppercorns, was both a challenge and a delight. My mouth went numb, but I couldn’t stop eating! I also took a ride on the Yangtze River Cableway, which gave me an incredible panoramic view of the city. Floating above the river, I saw the seamless blend of old and new—traditional wooden houses standing beside futuristic buildings. Another unique experience was exploring Liziba Station, where a monorail passes straight through a residential building. Hey guys, Liziba is super popular again! As a local, I didn't understand why it was so popular at first, but I recently discovered this new photo spot in Liziba, and it totally changed my mind. I went from questioning tourists to becoming one! 📍This place just got popular, so there are fewer people and the view is amazing! Don't go to the first floor and squeeze with the crowds. While there aren't many people, come and check in and enjoy a pleasant city walk! 🚗Directions (see picture 2): Navigate directly to "Bei Bin Yi Hao • Live Fish Restaurant". If you take the subway, get off at Line 3 [Huaxin Street Station - Exit 1], follow the route or navigate directly to easily arrive. Because it's on Beibin Road, the scenery along the way is stunning, and you can see the scenery of Liziba opposite. This city walk is so comfortable. 📷Shooting method (refer to picture 3): 1. After arriving at the platform, the person being photographed stands at the railing; 2. The photographer is about 3 meters away, squats down and uses 2x zoom; 3. Use the track below the monorail as a reference, aiming at the open mouth. Make sure the track is slightly below the lower lip, so you can take a super cool photo of "eating" the monorail!
