| Two Days and One Night Fun Getaway. đ
Hey everyone, just got back from an amazing trip to Longemont and put together this super detailed two-day-one-night guide covering food, fun, and everything in between. Save it now!
đ Transportation
Self-drive: Navigate directly to "Longemont Amusement Park." The parking lot is huge, with a flat rate of ÂĽ20 per entry.
High-speed rail: After arriving at Huzhou Station, take the shuttle bus from the adjacent bus station or a taxi (about 25 minutes). You can also take Bus No. 20, but it takes longer.
đ¨ Accommodation
Longemont Yashi Hotel: Highly recommended! The best value for money! The minimalist and elegant design features spacious, bright rooms with soft, comfortable bedding and impeccable cleanliness. The hotel has a massive parking lot, perfect for self-drivers. Its prime location is close to popular attractions like the Animal World and the Grand Circus, just a few minutes' walk to the shuttle stopâsuper convenient! Some rooms even offer distant views of Taihu Lake. Waking up to sunlight streaming through the curtains is pure bliss!
đĄ Itinerary
Day 1:
Morning: Check in at the hotel, rest up, and recharge for the fun ahead.
Afternoon: Catch the International Grand Circus! *Journey to the Magic Realm* is absolutely breathtaking, blending acrobatics, dance, magic, parades, and aerial performancesâso captivating you wonât look away. Arrive 1â2 hours early to snag good seats. Seats in Zone B (even-numbered) offer great interaction, especially for kids. Upgrade options: VIP seats (+ÂĽ100), premium seats (+ÂĽ50).
Evening: Head to Taihu Ancient Town, where the night lights create a stunning backdrop for photos. Donât miss the intangible cultural heritage iron-flower show (Koi Gate: 19:30â19:42, 20:50â21:02) and the fire pot performance (20:15â20:20). The fireworks display (every Saturday, 21:25â21:32) is best viewed from the riverside bar street outside the townâa visual feast!
Day 2:
Morning: Visit Longemont Animal World. Divided into walking and driving zones, the walking zone is usually included in hotel packages, allowing up-close feeding of alpacas, elephants, and giraffes. Opt for the ÂĽ100/7-feeding card for better value. The park is hugeâfamilies with kids can take the sightseeing bus (ÂĽ30/person) or rent a golf cart (ÂĽ120/hour, ÂĽ2/minute after the first hour). The driving zone requires a separate ticket (ÂĽ300/5-seat car), where you can stop at feeding points for herbivores (note: the mini-train doesnât stop).
Afternoon: Pack up, check out, and wrap up your Longemont adventure. If time allows, explore Yishang Street downtown for local Huzhou snacks.
đ Food Tips
Dining inside the park isnât the best valueâbring snacks and water. Taihu Ancient Town has diverse street food, but compare prices. Near the Animal World (~800m), try local farmhouse restaurants like Wangâs Courtyard for tasty, affordable meals.
â Pro Tips
1. Book circus tickets earlyâweekends and holidays get crowded.
2. Visit the Animal World in the morning when animals are more active (they nap in the afternoon).
Follow this guide for a stress-free, fun-filled Longemont trip! Save it and start planning your getaway đ
