One of the easier and more leisurely site to visit among all the natural attractions here in Wulong Karst because the steps simply go down and down (except for only one brief flight of steps to climb near the beginning). That means there’s no need to climb back to the same starting point. So take your time to enjoy the beauty of this natural wonder without any need to rush. And seriously, don’t rush at all because some areas can be slippery when wet. So I’d recommend wearing a good pair of shoes, put on a water repellent jacket and a cap to embark on this trip. However, there are many stairs, so it might not be suitable for those with knee problems. Also, there are many waterfalls along the way, so your clothes might get soaked. As a flower lover, I like to take photos with colorful flowers of different colors wherever I travel. So my husband said I am a flower lover, but I said that at least I am not "flower crazy". Three ways to go there, first, a bus for 4.5hrs, second, 2hr HSR from CQ North to Wulong then a 30m cab to the Wulong Visitor Center, third, a direct 1.75hr cab to Wulong Visitor Center. We took the HSR + cab method to go, and the cab method to head back. My recommendation: just spend a bit extra and take the cab all the way if you have a group of 4. In Wulong, for a single day, highly recommend to do Three Natural Bridges (1.5hrs with photos) and LongShuiMen Fissure (1.5hrs with photos). If time allows, explore the Furong Cave also (closed by 17:00). Head back to the city by 8pm and enjoy some local food.
