From Dayi, take a taxi to Shanzhuyuan or Yuanshan Xiaozhu as your hiking starting point. 🚘Self-Drive: Navigate to Shanzhuyuan or Yuanshan Xiaozhu. Parking is available along the way (some spots charge ~¥10/car). 🚶‍♀️Hiking Route & Tips 🧡Route: Start from Shanzhuyuan or Yuanshan Xiaozhu and hike the Longwozi Grand Loop (~19 km, ~7.5 hours). 🚗Transportation strategy: Navigate to Dayi's "Qinglong Village". When you are almost there, you will see a sign that says "Longwozi Hiking". There are many parking spots nearby, charging 10 yuan per vehicle, but we parked at an empty dam on the way here, which is free and only a few steps away. There is a Taoist temple here, which is quite popular. There is a fork in the road next to it. You can start circumambulating the mountain from the right side. 🌟Highlights of the trip: The air on the mountain is really good, but we went there a little early, and the leaves were not yellow or red enough. The scenery should be very nice in a week or two. There is a trail covered with ginkgo leaves that is quite picturesque. We didn't walk very far the whole time because the children were too young and it was not suitable for us to go any further. There were many wild chrysanthemums on the roadside, and my mother picked a lot of them and brought them home to make tea with [Sob]. 📌Tips: The slope of this mountain climbing is quite steep, so please pay attention to safety when hiking. The first time I was going to Longwozi, the navigation was wrong, and I went to Longwozi Village in Pengzhou, so I arranged another hiking trip to Longwozi. The vegetation on Longwozi Mountain is very dense. I hiked along the stone steps along the river and listened to the gurgling water, which was quite healing. There are fewer people going to Longwozi now, and there are not many people even on weekends, which is especially suitable for people who like to hike quietly~~ The Longwozi route is quite long. We took a 3-year-old child and only walked to the position in picture 15 before returning. It took about 4 hours to walk and play. If you are hiking with children, please make reasonable arrangements according to your child's situation. The first half is all uphill, which is quite tiring. There are only two small stalls selling food halfway, such as fried potatoes, spicy hot pot, etc. If the time is right before entering the mountain, you can have lunch in Yuelai Town or Heming Town before going up the mountain
