The rooms were clean and cozy, and the staff was super friendly, making me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. Since Malé is quite compact, staying here made it easy to explore the local area. I had a chance to try some delicious Maldivian food and take a relaxing walk along the waterfront before catching my boat transfer to the resort the next day. In that case, I highly recommend Lonuveli. The rooms are a little old, but they are cleanly maintained and the bathrooms have been remodeled. There are no bugs in the rooms, they are clean, and the staff is friendly. Breakfast is free, and the French toast with lots of butter is really delicious.
