Flew into
Flew into Los Angeles, stayed at Motel 6 down the street from the car rental and airport. Most hotels charge a parking fee per night and require a deposit that you get back once you check out which isn’t stated on their page so I suggest to call the hotel. Traffic to the airport for departure is absolutely horrible and slow, I suggest leaving earlier then usually- TSA is fairly quick. Drove North to visit Yosemite. Pictures do not do the experience justice.

Long layover in LAX?
If you have a long layover in Los Ángeles airport you might want to consider to get food while you wait. This airport requires every passenger to claim their baggage (even if it’s just a connection) and keep it til the counter of each airline opens (3 hours before flight). If you travel light, you might want to check outside the terminar for a nice meal without paying airport overprices.
Barely a kilometer from the airport you can find few options, including having the California popular flavor of Carl’s Jr. The restaurant is quite fast on serving, has beverages refill and ambience is quite nice. Very popular among people working in the area. You can even get a combo for 6$ only!
It’s possible to walk there, you can get any airport bus to Terminal 1 and walk straight from there over Century Boulevard.

✈️LAX → KIX Business Class Travel
The ANA Business Class flight from Los Angeles Airport to Kansai Airport was extremely comfortable. The spacious seats could be reclined and had plenty of legroom.
The in-flight meals were delicious, the service was polite, and I had a pleasant time. There was a wide selection of movies and music, so I didn't get bored. I was looking forward to what would be served at each meal, and it didn't feel like I was on an airplane 👏
Even on a long flight, thanks to business class I was able to return to Japan stress-free and refreshed. I would definitely use it again next time.

This place
This place is great for people watching, but the decor is a bit dated. The places has also gone through multiple expansions and reorganizations throughout the year, so it's a bit of a hassle to get around at all time.
Easy to get from one gate to the next. Enjoyed big comfy sofa chairs, charging stations and ports under seats. There were stores and restraunts in that area. So I was happy.
