I had an amazing time visiting Lowther Castle in the Lake District! 🏰 The castle is surrounded by stunning grounds, perfect for a leisurely walk or a picnic. The entrance fee was £12, and I felt it was totally worth it for the beautiful gardens and the rich history. 🌿 Nearby, you can explore the Lowther Woodland Trail and enjoy the picturesque views of the lakes and hills. 🌄 If you’re into photography or just love a peaceful retreat, this is definitely a must-see! #LowtherCastle #LakeDistrict #History #Nature #Photography #Travel

Kendal Calling!
Home of the famous summer music festival of Kendal Calling, Lowther castle on the edge of the Lake District is a fantastic place to visit year round. The site is much more than the castle itself, where you can get lost in the miles of trails that flow through the stunning countryside into beautiful native forest and alongside streams and rivers. #lakedistrict #walk #voyagevibes
