Melbourne restaurant that claims to have the world's best croissants 🥐🇦🇺
Melbourne, Australia, has many great bakeries as well as coffee shops.
Among them, I visited Lune Croissant, the most popular croissant shop in Melbourne.
Lune Criossanteries is run by Kate Reid, who learned croissant techniques in France and founded it. It has gained a reputation for being the best croissant in the world, not just in Australia.
It is so popular with local Australians that you can find it in Melbourne, Brisbane, and Sydney.
Lune Croissant has three branches in Melbourne.
There are two branches in downtown Melbourne, the main branch, Fitzory, and the second branch, Melbourne CBC, which I visited.
The main branch in Melbourne, Fitzory, operates a "lune lab."
You can see the bakers making special and new menu pastry breads in a glass cube space by reservation, and you can also taste the warm bread right away.
🥐Types of bread
There are only about 9 types of bread, including basic croissants, pain au chocolat, and the famous almond croissant, so there isn't much variety.
Lune Croissant Popular menu items are almond croissants and lemon curd cruffins.
They also sell coffee, and they say they use ONA coffee beans.
