The Luoji Mountain scenic area of the Daliang Mountain Range is a national AAAA level scenic spot with numerous attractions: Dahai Zi, glacier drift, glacier stone slope, Pearl Lake, grass lake, hand-in-hand lake, jade bun lake, love lake, empty drum stream, etc. However, in the winter time, Luoji Mountain shows a fairy-tale-like ice and snow world, especially Dahai Zi, also known as Heilongtan, which is half frozen and half presents clear blue lake water in the severe cold of the winter. Looking at Dahai Zi from halfway up the mountain, it looks like a huge mandarin duck hot pot, with beautiful curves that are incomparably beautiful. The plank road along the lake and the ice and snow, ice ridges under the winter warm sun, are even more crystal clear and wonderful, which is absolutely a rare view for people who live in the south all year round. The winter Luoji Mountain, corresponding to the warm Xichang, forms a huge contrast, providing a different style and play place for people who come to Xichang to 'cat winter'. This place has majestic mountains, beautiful scenery, dense forests, and layered peaks. It's really super beautiful! We set off from Xichang in the morning and took a bus to the Luoji Mountain Scenic Area. Upon arriving at the scenic area, we first took a cable car up the mountain. During the ascent of the cable car, we could enjoy the beautiful scenery outside. After getting off the cable car, we started our hiking journey. The air on the mountain is fresh, and the vegetation is refreshing. Along the way, we saw many beautiful sceneries, such as Hand-in-Hand Lake, Big Sea, and Water Grass Lake. The most impressive one is the Big Sea, which is a clear high mountain lake surrounded by dense forests. The scenery is very spectacular. Here, we can also hear the songs of birds and many unseen plants, feeling the beauty of nature. In the afternoon, we started to descend the mountain and ended the day's journey. Although this trip was a bit tiring, it was very worthwhile. We felt the charm of nature, exercised our bodies, and relaxed our mood.
