Today I took my dad and kid to visit the M+ Art Museum in West Kowloon, Hong Kong. The building of the museum was designed by the famous architect Herzog de Meuron. The material used was bamboo, a common local element in Hong Kong. The front door is made of glazed tiles with bamboo language. The big light bulb in the store at the entrance area looks familiar to you? It is the street market lamp with Hong Kong characteristics.
