M Hotel Saigon
M Hotel Saigon
Location:
The hotel is very conveniently located in the heart of District 1, Ho Chi Minh City. There is a big shopping mall (Saigon Square / Takashimaya) next to the hotel. It takes about 5-7 minutes to walk to popular attractions such as Ben Thanh Market and The Cafe Apartments. It only costs about VND$20,000 to grab a taxi to a more distant attraction (eg Tan Dinh Church). There are many bars and restaurants downstairs, and you can eat a variety of delicious food.
Hotel Experience:
The hotel staff are very friendly and enthusiastic, and the service attitude is very good. The room type I stayed in this time was Minimalist, and I was arranged to stay on the top floor of the hotel (9/F). The room is quite large (26 square meters), the room style is simple but stylish, very clean and tidy, the room has plenty of light and air conditioning, and the hotel has a sunny view (you can see Bitexco Financial Tower). In addition, the room is equipped with Samsung Smart TV, which can watch major TV channels (eg. BBC, CNN, National Geographic, CCTV, Phoenix TV), and can also watch preset movies or browse YouTube channels, so you don't have to worry about being bored at night. The hotel is equipped with two bottles of mineral water, instant coffee, tea bags, towels, slippers, hangers, safes and various disposable toiletries. I did not enjoy the hotel breakfast during this stay, so I can't comment on the food quality.
To be improved:
The bathroom does not have a dry and wet separation design (the toilet and shower are in the same space), and the sound insulation can be better (especially when someone is at the elevator entrance). There are a few stairs at the hotel entrance (please note for those with limited mobility)
Conclusion:
It is very suitable for all types of people (family/couples/business people).
