Searching for hotel in Ipoh? I recommend you to consider M Roof Hotel because the location is strategically in favor for visitor to explore around Ipoh City. It's around 2,5 km to Ipoh City, it's closer to some attraction such as Perak Cave Temple, Lost World In Tambun, Pamelo Orchard in Tambun, Sunway Parade. This hotel also near by local food place such as the Family food court at Canning estate ,and Medan Selera at Perak Stadium. The hotel restaurants are located at the ground floor the lobby, next to check in desk, one is serve international foods, and the other is Grand White Coffee, serve a local food. It’s a quiet daunting task to find good hotels in Ipoh since there is no international 5* hotel chains that we can count on. The so called ‘top hotel in Ipoh’ next to the shopping mall also got a bad review. Not worth the price, they said. After reviewing few hotels on tripadvisor and trip.com, I had opt for M Roof Hotel. My takes based on recent stay (June 2022) Location : Nearby Ipoh Stadium & Sport/Aquatic Centre. Not that far from North South Highway exit. Easily accessible to famous eateries. Hotel : Beautiful lobby especially at night. They know how to play with lights & 💡. Spacious room. 2 super single beds, comfortable for family with kids. mid size rooftop pool 🏊‍♀️ Breakfast: You will be given 2 options either to have breakfast at coffee house or Grand Old Town Cafe in the lobby. I have tried both since I have extra breakfast voucher. I’d say coffee house is better bet even though buffet spread is not as generous as 5 ⭐️ hotels in KL. Things to improve : Cleanliness especially toilet and housekeeping should pay attention to dust on the surface or under the bed. Front desk staff should be more courteous since you are in the hospitality business. Went for holiday at Ipoh, Perak for 2 days and 1 night. We stayed at M Roof Hotel & Residence. All we can say, everything is awesome! The room, the bed, the toilet. Perfect for us. The breakfast also got many choices from western to malay dish. Not forget to mention on the exterior of the common area, the pool, the lobby. Very Instaworthy. Will definitely come back to Ipoh and stay here again.
