Hey everyone, I have to share Wuhan East Lake Park with you today! It's three times bigger than West Lake in Hangzhou, full of natural scenery and cultural heritage, and definitely a must-see tourist destination.
Preparation
Before visiting East Lake, it is recommended to check the weather forecast in advance and choose a sunny day for beautiful photos. Transportation is very convenient, with buses and subways available. If you're driving, there are plenty of parking lots around. Prepare comfortable shoes, as East Lake is vast and requires a lot of walking.

- Tingtao Scenic Area: Free entry. As soon as you enter, you can feel the rich Chu culture. Xingyin Pavilion was built in memory of the poet Qu Yuan. With its red pillars and green tiles, it has an antique charm. Standing in front of the pavilion, you can almost see Qu Yuan reciting poems here. Stroll along the lake, listen to the waves lapping against the shore, and enjoy the distant scenery of the lake and mountains. At the Bitan Fish Viewing Area, numerous colorful koi carp play in the water. Buy a bag of fish food and start a joyful interaction with the fish.
- Moshan Scenic Area: This place is known for its "ten-mile-long lake and eight-mile-long Moshan Mountain." The entrance fee is around 40 yuan, which is a great value. Climb the Chutian Terrace for a panoramic view of East Lake. The antique buildings are magnificent, and if you're lucky, you can even see a chime bell performance, transporting you back to ancient times. Don't miss the Cherry Blossom Garden. Every year from March to April, the cherry blossoms are in full bloom, like clouds and rosy clouds. Walking among them with your loved one is incredibly romantic. When the plum blossoms bloom in winter, the Meiyuan (Plum Garden) is filled with a subtle fragrance, allowing photography enthusiasts to capture stunning photos.

The golden, crispy outer skin wraps soft glutinous rice and delicious fillings, making it a satisfying treat. If you want to eat special lake-fresh food, go to the restaurants near Moshan. Steamed Wuchang fish is tender and flavorful. There's also Reganmian, chewy noodles mixed with sesame sauce, chopped green onions, dried radish, and other seasonings, creating a fragrant aroma.

If you have plenty of time, you can spend two days exploring. Visit the Tingtao Scenic Area in the morning and the Moshan Scenic Area in the afternoon on the first day.
