Goro didn’t lie to me❗️Kyoto by the sea is really delicious on earth🇯🇵
🌊This time I checked in at the "Toretore Seafood Market" in Maizuru City in the northern part of Kyoto Prefecture that "Lonely Gourmet" Goro has also been to, Kyoto by the Sea.
🐙This is the largest seafood market in the rest area on the Sea of Japan side. It is rich in rock oysters and some conches in summer, but the most famous ones are "Maizuru Crab" and "Matsuha Crab" in winter.
🦀️There are three seafood shops in the market where you can directly buy fresh seafood, which can be made into sashimi, grilled or dried. There are also sushi restaurants and donburi restaurants in the market, where you can quickly and cost-effectively eat well-matched seafood dishes.
🦞Same as the seafood market in Wakayama, they are both owned by the same group, so they also have a very supporting business model, which is not boring at all. There are also many souvenirs and local specialties available for purchase in the market, as well as a supermarket. Although there is no children's play area here, there are many limited-edition gashapon machines in the middle. There is also a coffee shop outside the market which is essential in summer
🍦You can buy it🐟The most recommended one is rock oysters and oysters, which have a slightly different taste. The creaminess is very heavy, very smooth, and has a flavor bomb feeling, but not fishy. The store will serve it with lemon, and they will also ask Do you want any sauce? I recommend not to use the sauce. The original flavor with sea water is really great. Each one costs about 700 yen, and you can enjoy a dozen at a time.
🦪The other thing is sweet shrimp, the big ones are similar to peony shrimps, each box costs 1,500 yen, and there are about 12 small and medium-sized ones. I bought a big one, 6 pieces. It is not on the same level as the expensive domestic shrimps. It is super smooth and very sweet. The ice-cold shrimp meat melts in your mouth quickly when you bite it. It has a feeling like eating ice cream.
🐚White squid is also a specialty of Maizuru Port, and its sashimi is excellent. The snails that are also available here are also highly recommended.
🐱The one on the far left has freshly grilled seafood made into dried bonito flakes. My cat likes bonito flakes very much. This time I bought octopus as a gift for her. The store grinds them freshly. The food is super fragrant. If you are a family with cats, don’t miss it. Goro Cheng doesn’t deceive me. The delicious food in the world is nothing more than this. There is such a beautiful sea to see. I will come back to eat crabs in winter! ! !
