A Feast at Glutton Bay
Had an amazing dinner at Makansutra Glutton Bay, one of Singapore’s iconic open-air food havens. With the skyline as our backdrop and the scent of smoky grills in the air, we dove into a spread that truly hit the spot.
The sambal stingray stole the show — grilled to perfection with a generous layer of spicy sambal that packed heat and flavor in every bite. The sambal lala was another winner, fresh clams coated in fragrant sambal sauce that made us go back for more. The salted egg prawn balls were addictive — crispy on the outside, juicy inside, and coated in that creamy, savory salted egg sauce that’s hard to resist.
We balanced the spice with tender sweet potato leaves stir-fried in garlic, a comforting earthy dish that paired beautifully with everything. The kampung fried rice was hearty and satisfying, with bits of egg and anchovies adding that homely, rustic touch.
Eating at Glutton Bay is not just about food — it’s the vibe. Bustling crowd, waterfront breeze, and the joy of discovering amazing local flavors all in one place. Definitely a must-visit for anyone craving Singapore’s best street-style eats!
