Mandarin Gallery is a shopping centre that is strategically located in orchard road and it is connected to the Hilton Hotel. Mandarin Gallery features several boutique stores, selling items ranging from clothings, bags, shoes, lingerie to cafes and restaurants. We saw a few brands such as korea brand (MLB), Bathing Ape, Michael Kor, BimBa Y Lola, Victoria Secret. There is a five stars hotel above the high end fashion mall. At the drop-off area are four lifts that bring you all the way to your hotel room floor. This is really very convenient for those who are staying there. Big brands such as Rowena, Micheal kors, Tudor, and the big flagship store of Victoria secret are within the mall. Some parts of the mall are carpeted. It reminds me of me and my hubby going to the Changi airport times where the airport floor was carpeted too. There are restaurants and clinics inside the mall too. It is a convenient mall for people staying above the mall.

This mall is connected with a hotel, and you can walk to the hotel via Mandarin Gallery. It is a good mall to explore as it has several high end retail shops, eateries and restaurants. It has a big Victoria Secret outlet as well here. The overall environment is good and there are a few resting places for shoppers to take a break after shopping. This is my fifth time back here and over the years, the food and service has not change. The food is amazing and my favorite that I always go for is the Rosu Pork Loin curry rice set meal. The pork is moderately fatty such that it gives out a nice mixture of meat and rubbery texture when you bite through the meat. Mix that with their signature sauce and you have the perfect tonkatsu. My next favorite is the oyster. the fried oyster is really fresh and has a good mixture of crunchiness and seafood taste when you eat it. Moreover, the service is excellent with the your food always coming on time freshly made. The theme of this festive is Step into a Whimsical Christmas Wonderland in 2023. There are too many decorations at Mandarin Gallery. There are even animations on the building facade too. The animation is about Christmas and it is also a countdown timer for Christmas and New Year. It take up the entire building and you can even see it from far. If you have a chance to stay in Orchard road, try out Hilton Orchard in their new location.

Their merchandise is very popular and we are here to buy their baseball caps for gifts. In different countries, there are limited editions and it can be quite difficult to buy them. Most of the times, there are in-store discount sales when you buy 2 items and above. It is especially popular in South Korea when baseball is a popular sport. Their baseball caps are compatible with both males and females and it comes in many colours and logos. Too bad they cannot do customization on the baseball caps.

#winhkflight When visiting Singapore, I had the opportunity to have lunch at Ippudo Restaurant at Mandarin Gallery and it was great. Famous for its Tonkatsu Ramen, I have to say the ramen noodles were really delicious in a flavourful broth. The restaurant was very well designed with a touch of clean and modern decor. Highly recommended! My rating of this restaurant: 4.5 ⭐️ out of 5! Hope to go to HK to try different ramen noodles!

Blue label pizza is my favourite pizza place in Singapore. If you enjoy a thin and crispy crust, their pizzas are for you! The restaurant is relatively small and cosy, but is tastefully decorated in a retro-Americana theme. I personally recommend the White Label pizza (serves 2) and their signature carrot cake! The chips and dip are also delicious with the sauce. mandarinorchard has one of the best staycation locations if you want a place right smack in the middle of town, surrounded by endless shopping and dining options. It’s so great you’ll probably find yourself not spending much time in the room which is maybe a good thing? Joke aside, this was a very decent stay. We got a nice discount on our two nighter here using . Those were the days where you could actually get your hands on a promo code and use it. These days? They’re out of stock almost immediately. So we paid $150 for two nights in a deluxe room but because the hotel is going through a massive refurbishment of rooms, I’m not really sure which room we ended up in. But it’s likely the 28sqm superior deluxe, with new carpets, a king sized bed, a proper working desk with a swivel chair, cable tv, and a refurbished bathroom. Hey, you even get instant Nescafe coffee, and TWG tea here for a $100 room! It’s really not a bad place considering the price. The air conditioning is old school style so you can control the temperature, and make it freezing if you want. Checking in at 5pm was a good decision for me that day.. I didn’t have to wait at all for my room, and the hotel staff were friendly with lots of smiles. For what it’s worth, it’s definitely not a five star hotel, nor “an icon of world-class Asian hospitality in Singapore”. The hotel felt like they were running on limited manpower, and I’ve heard many scary stories of how the check-in queues can get crazy during peak periods, but they try where they can. Lets look out for more deals together!
