[2025 Arakan Attraction] Travel Guide for Matigol Falls (Updated May)

It is probably one of my most favorite local tourist destinations in Mindano. This astonishing Matigol falls has numerous unique layers of natural pools: some pools are narrow and some are really deep, so be careful. It is located at Sitio Inamomg, Brgy. Datu Ladayon, Arakan Valley, North Cotabato, Mindanao. If you are planning a trip to Mindanao soon, you might wanna check this out also. had the biggest scare in all of my Chasing Philippine Waterfalls Project trips. Death literally stared at me while negotiating a difficult trek to Matigol Falls. I almost quit and gave up and go back to Davao City. But the reward of a beautiful and majestic waterfalls prevailed upon me. And it sure did! Matigol Falls has several tiers with different beauty and splendor. I would love to go back here but not in that difficult and death-defying route.
