This place is no stranger to anyone, but let me say it again!! Shorncliffe Pier is absolutely stunning for photos 🥹. Every sunset, the area in photo 1 is packed with people taking pictures, fishing, jogging, and more. ⭐️ For those without a car, you can take the Shorncliffe train to the last station and walk about 10 minutes to get there! That day, I tried the only fish and chips shop nearby (photos 6 and 7), and it instantly became my top pick for fish and chips. Even the calamari was 💯! The batter was incredibly delicious, and to my surprise, the receipt mentioned that this is one of Australia's top fish and chips shops with a long history. Highly recommended 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟. ⭐️ At sunset, this place is truly photogenic. Watching the sun go down is completely unobstructed, and sometimes just sitting quietly on a bench feels so relaxing. They also have outdoor and indoor dining areas with plenty of space. Surprisingly, it was not busy on a Saturday morning. But still, we suggest booking a table in advance to secure a good spot. The big breakfast is appetizing and affordable. I also love their hot chocolate. Shorncliffe is a suburb located in the north-eastern part of Brisbane. It is approximately 30 minutes drive from the city. Here, you will find the historic pier built in the late 1800s. Shorncliffe pier, previously known as Sandgate pier, reopened in 2016 after being closed to public in 2014 for major revamp. The jetty itself gives a relaxing vibe due to its white timber flooring. I also love the calm waters. It is a perfect place unwind. There's a lot of facilities surrounding the pier, making it more popular to families. It has picnic and BBQ areas, playgrounds, serviced toilets, food stalls, and plenty of carpark spaces. It is also a popular spot for fishing. The sunset seen from Brisbane City, Kangaroo Lookout, or various parks is beautiful, but the sunset seen from the vast, endless Australian ocean is also spectacular🌅 The sunset seen from Sean Cliff Pier was truly impressive🥹 I enjoyed the beauty of nature while looking at the overwhelmingly wide ocean that I can't see in Korea and the sky that shows various colors as time goes by🥰 The wind is strong and it can get very cold when the sun goes down, so outerwear is a must!
