I finally came to the old town of Kairouan, Tunisia on the other side of the Any Gate ❗️ 🕌 Kairouan, our first stop on our self-driving tour of Tunisia, the old city was built in 670 AD and was included in the World Heritage List in 1988. 🚏Walking around the old city, the streets are like a maze, with a dazzling array of shops on both sides selling a variety of goods, from traditional handicrafts to authentic local delicacies. The city’s towering towers, exquisite arches and complex mosaic decorations are all amazing. The most famous buildings in Kairouan, Tunisia are the Kailuan Grand Mosque, the Three Gates Mosque and the Agrabid Reservoir. We first came to the Agrabid Reservoir.
