This can only be purchased first thing in the morning, so we recommend going early. At the outlet, you can fill up your Shingen Mochi with as much as you want for 200 yen! However, you need a numbered ticket to participate in this, and this ticket often runs out at 6am, so if you want to participate, it is best to line up at 5am. #thingstodo A park on the mountain side overlooking the basin. It is quite spacious, and there is a difference in elevation. There is ample parking space, and the structure makes use of ancient tombs. There is a lot of play equipment that children can have fun with, and it seems like they will forget about the time. Adults can also indulge in the magnificent views and historic sites. Depending on the season, it may be a luxury to lie down on the vast lawn and spend some relaxing time.

#thingstodo There was a well-maintained parking lot, clean toilets (a rarity at the time), play equipment for children, a pond and island, carp feeding, an artificial stream and waterfall, and a wooded area where you could collect stag beetles. While we were playing, mothers from the neighborhood came over with their children. The surrounding area is peach fields. It is a wonderful environment located on a hill with a panoramic view of the Kofu Basin. There are no vending machines in the park, but there are several near the entrance to the parking lot. There is also an ice cream vending machine. Ihope you have a nice summer vacation. Stay safe.

#thingstodo This place is perfect or almost is. It probably is one of the best parks in Japan. Very secluded and has a nature feel to it that you can't really find anywhere else in Japan. It also has a very great kids playground, with plenty of activities for kids to do. I can think of two parks in fujiyoshida that come close, onishirin and the other is close to a Lawson up in fujiyoshida but this one is the best one. The reason for the greatness is that the nature here is untouched and they are made so that the park here is intertwined with nature. You don't really understand how big the park is and especially the playground until you walk around. Park is amazing, koi fish pond, pine trees, massive playground with a great slide. Plenty of creepy crawlies to find as well and here is the downside to this place. It's filled with wasp nests. Bloody, wasps everywhere. The park is maintained and there are scorch marks on the trees left by burning the nests. It was on most of the trees on the kids playground and you couldn't play for more than 30 minutes till something shows up. Yes, wasps are native to Japan and they do help the eco system in some mysterious ways but if you have kids, you will be worried. The park folks, do their best to maintain them but I was there a few days ago and you are constantly on the look out for these devilish things. We had planned on eating some lunch here with the kids, wasps just buzzing around constantly.

Little higher in elevation so there's usually a nice light breeze and the air is not as stale as down in the valley. Koi pond down the bottom to hop around and large grassed area up the top good for walks.Good big space, recommend for family day and Sakura season gathering. I wish to travel more in 2024.
