Day 3 (August 27) 8:00 The former site of the Menglian Tusi Mansion. The door lintel is engraved with "Menglian Xuanfu Office".
In the 26th year of Yuan Zhiyuan (1289), the "Muliang Road Civil and Military Government" was established. In the fourth year of Yongle in the Ming Dynasty (1406), the Menglian Chief Officer (Zheng Liu Pin) was established. The entire Ming Dynasty was a chief officer, which was lower than the Xuanfu Division and Xuanwei Division. In the 48th year of Kangxi in the Qing Dynasty (1709), the Menglian Chief Officer was promoted to Xuanfu Division (Zheng Si Pin). The Dao family is a hereditary Tusi.
The Ming Dynasty set up three Xuan and six Wei in the Yunnan border, which refers to the general term for the jurisdictional institutions set up by the Ming Dynasty in the southwestern region of China and the Indochina Peninsula. Three Xuan refers to Nandian Xuanfu Division, Ganyan Xuanfu Division, and Longchuan Xuanfu Division, and six Wei refers to Cheli Xuanwei Division, Myanmar Xuanwei Division, Mubang Xuanwei Division, 800 Dadian Xuanwei Division, Mengyang Xuanwei Division, and Laos Xuanwei Division. The scope of the three Xuan and six Wei, in addition to the domestic part, roughly includes today's Myanmar, northern Thailand and central Laos, all of which can be "mobilized in Yunnan". The Menglian Chief Officer of the Ming Dynasty was successively under the jurisdiction of the Lu Chuan Ping Mian Xuanwei Division and the Yunnan Du Division. The Qing Dynasty was under the jurisdiction of Yongchang Prefecture and Shunning Prefecture. In the 35th year of Qianlong, he was awarded the "Manchu and Han Seal Text Menglian Xuanfu Division Copper Seal" for his merits. After the middle of the Qing Dynasty, the scope of the Xuanfu Division gradually shrank. In February 1949, the entire territory of Lancang was liberated. In April, the Lancang Temporary Commissioner's Office was established, the Tusi system was abolished, and the 660-year Menglian Tusi system declared the end of the Yuan, Ming, Qing and Republic of China.
