2025 Esashi Travel Guide: Must-see attractions, popular food, hotels, transportation routes (updated in May)

Kamome Island in Esashi Town, Hokkaido Even though it's an island, you can get there by mainland. It takes about 2 hours to go around it, so I didn't have much time, so I just walked along the Kamome Promenade and enjoyed the view of the sea. Access is convenient, with a roughly two-hour drive from Hakodate or by taking the Hakodate Bus bound for Esashi.
