[Walking around European markets] Barcelona, Spain: Mercado de La Boqueria
[#Walking around European markets] Spain:
#圣尤西市场 “Mercado de Sant Josep” is the most famous tourist market in downtown Barcelona. I first visited it in 2014. I was amazed the first time I stepped in. How could a vegetable market be so beautiful? Since I just had a quick look last time, I decided to go to the vegetable market to find some delicious food this time!
Located right in the city center next to #La Rambla, San Jose Market is colorful and bright, which is probably what it describes! The business hours are from 8 am to 8:30 pm, from bright sunshine to bright lights, which is also impressive.
This tourist market is also a favorite place for tourists. There is food, drinks, and shopping. Whether it is a glass of juice for 1-2 euros, or a variety of seafood tapas, desserts and bread, freshly cut ham, dry goods and biscuits, eggs, you can really eat wherever you go.
The seafood and fish stalls also provide cooking services, or you can eat oysters raw! Although the prices in the tourist market are a bit more expensive, it’s hard not to try the colorful food!
The best thing about San Jose Market is that it provides free wifi! It’s really thoughtful, allowing you to live stream, take photos and share them right away, with absolutely no time lag. It’s a great marketing trick.
There are several well-known "hot stir-fry shops" in the market where you can sit at the bar and order freshly fried food. Whether at home or abroad, the vegetable market is truly the birthplace of delicious food!
