I visited Mallorca, an island in the Mediterranean Sea. One of the places I want you to visit is Palma Cathedral! It took four centuries to complete in 1601, and the famous Gaudi was also involved. When I went inside, I was fascinated by the delicate stained glass and decorations. #familytime Palma de Mallorca is a fantastic destination for a family trip! We spent a week exploring this beautiful city, and there was something for everyone. The Cathedral of Santa Maria, also known as La Seu, was our first stop. The architecture is stunning, and for around €8 per person, it’s well worth the visit! The kids were amazed by the sheer size of the cathedral, and the views from the terraces were incredible. We also took a walk along the seafront promenade, where the kids loved watching the boats in the marina. Nearby, you can visit the Palma Aquarium (€25 for adults, €14 for kids), which was a huge hit with our little ones. The underwater tunnel and interactive exhibits kept them entertained for hours. We spent our afternoons at the beach, just a short drive from the city center. The water is crystal clear, and the sandy shores are perfect for families. Plus, there are plenty of family-friendly restaurants nearby to grab a bite. 📍Mallorca, Spain is truly a holiday paradise, with endless sea, beach sunsets, and Tapas that are incredibly satisfying. . ✈️ After arriving at the airport, find the Wiber blue shuttle bus to reach the car rental point. You can get a number/take the car on-site according to the order information and drive away 🚗. It is recommended to buy full insurance. We encountered a tire puncture/unstable tire pressure, and they directly replaced the car without any cost. . 🏖️ Far de Formentor at the northern cape, Picture 2 There are parts with steep mountains and narrow, sharp turns, which really test your driving skills. You also have to avoid black goats 🐐 and cycling teams along the way. Watching the sunset at the lighthouse is absolutely stunning, and the scenery along the way looks like it’s straight out of a Fuji filter, making it a super valuable experience. . 💙 Popular beach Caló des Moro, Picture 3 Since we arrived early, the large crowds hadn't arrived yet. The sunlight on the water makes it emerald green, and it looks great in any photo 😍. To get into the water, you need to walk down some rocks, so be sure to wear comfortable shoes. . 🥘 Restaurant Mónaco, divine seafood paella, Picture 4 We found this restaurant on our way to Playa del Muro beach. It was the first time we saw 🦀️ crab claws and crab legs in paella. The ingredients were not only fresh but also generously used, the seasoning was superb, and the service was excellent ✌🏻. If you are nearby, you must visit this place. . ⛪️ Sóller Town, Picture 5 Beautiful port ⚓️ Port de Soller, with many small boats in the quiet harbor. It’s also great to take photos from the top of the mountain. There is also the town church 💒 Sant Bartomeu de Sóller and the century-old red tram. Parking is convenient, and you can tour the town in half a day. . 🍉 Mercat de I'Olivar Olive Market, Picture 6 A must-visit market in the city center, it closes at 2 pm, so try to go early! The fruits are explosively sweet, such as cherries 🍒, watermelon, strawberries, and loquats, none of which are bad. You can even pick one and have it cut into small pieces to eat directly 🍉. There is a whole seafood area + some small shops inside, and there are shops on the second floor that can help with processing. . 🐙 Bar Andaluz, Picture 7 There is a queue every day, with 2300+ reviews and a 4.7 rating tapas bar that we finally got to try. It also has signatures from stars like Cristiano Ronaldo and Iker Casillas. The grilled octopus/scallops and various seafood dishes are all great, and a glass of Sangria will bring you happiness.

It was a short vacation to Mallorca. We visited La Seu (Cathedral of Santa Maria of Palma) when we first reached. This Gothic cathedral, also known as La Seu, was built on the site of a pre-existing Arab mosque. The construction began in 1229 and continued for centuries. 📍Plaça de la Almoina, s/n, 07001 Palma, Illes Balears, Spain 💰 €8 We then explored the Almudaina Palace. The Royal Palace of La Almudaina is an impressive fortification built in the 13th century. 📍Carrer del Palau Reial, s/n, 07001 Palma, Illes Balears, Spain 💰 Around €7 If you love seafood like me, I would recommend you to check out the Ca'n Eduardo. We tried the Fresh fish and "Caldereta de Langosta" (Lobster Stew). It was very delicious and we all love it 😍 💰Around €40-€50 per person 📍 Muelle de la Lonja, s/n, 07012 Palma, Illes Balears, Spain We also visited the Valldemossa Charterhouse. The Charterhouse was a royal palace before it was handed over to the Carthusian monks in 1399. It was famous for being the residence of composer Frédéric Chopin and writer George Sand. 📍Plaça de la Cartoixa, s/n, 07170 Valldemossa, Illes Balears, Spain 💰 Around €10 We also explored the Deia. Deià is a picturesque village known for its literary and musical residents. They are known for their Seasonal dishes with a modern twist. All the items were good and fresh. We got the chance to explore these fascinating caves and enjoy a boat ride on the underground lake. 📍Carretera de les Coves, s/n, 07680 Porto Cristo, Illes Balears, Spain We also explored the Cala Millor Beach 🏖️. We also spent some time at this popular beach, we went swimming and sunbathing ☀️ We also visited Santanyí Market. This local market open on Wednesdays and Saturdays only. It is a Michelin-starred restaurant offering innovative Mediterranean cuisine. They have a lot of fruits and fish and meat and everything else you can imagine. They also offer traditional mallorquín dishes prepared for you. The bus takes two transfers and the intervals are long, so it takes about 2.5 to 3 hours one way. 🚌 2. Many people rent cars, but parking is difficult, paid parking lots are expensive, and illegal parking is often ticketed! 🚘 3. I think a taxi would be the most reasonable way to go if you go with 4 or more people! It costs 70 euros one way, so if you find a companion and go with 4 people, it's 35 euros per person round trip, so you can comfortably go one way in an hour!!!!! I highly recommend a taxi!! 🚕🚕🚕 Hotel: It's better to choose a hotel near downtown Palma :) Just play in the water at Calo des moro and come back! We stayed at hostalpons, but there is no air conditioning, so it can be very hot in the middle of summer!! The location was great 😀 Recommended food & restaurants: There is an Italian restaurant called Ritzi Palma in downtown Palma, If you order truffle cheese cream pasta, they perform a huge cheese performance in front of you :) The shrimp oil pasta was also delicious..!!!! It was pricey, but it was refreshing and delicious. The staff are Italian, so they are very proud of their pasta, and you can feel Italy in Spain!! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

I had ordered a Paleta 100% Iberica shoulder ham and a beer. The ham tastes juicy with rich well-marbled fat that melts into the mouth. Iberica ham is famous in Spain and Portugal, you must try it when you are here

#bucketlistreboot It is located at Placa de La Seu, s/n 09001 Palma. It is a 230 metres 5 minutes walk from the bus stop. Open Monday to Friday from 1000-1700, Saturday from 1000-1415, closed on Sunday. The museum is located on the ground floor of the Cathedral and occupies the two chapter rooms; the Gothic room built in the 14th century and the Baroque room, which dates back to the 18th century. A collection of Gothic sculptures, paintings and silver smithery as well as Baroque sculptures and silver smithery are very nice and you should not give it a miss. The cathedral museum is on the left hand side just after you have entered from the ticket office.

Mallorca islands is one of the best places I’ve been to in Europe, no wonder it attracts 10 million visitors a year!! obviously it helps that Ibiza is one of the islands 😂 You can easily spend 10+ days here relaxing, enjoying water activities, and discover little corners of the islands! We arrived at the Grand Melia Hotel and was immediately welcomed by the vast ocean view. activities: 1. Boat tour + buffet on bard: highly recommend this 3 hour tour with an opportunity to jump into the water when the boat stops at a cove for lunch on board. Its an easy way to hop on and start enjoying the island life. you can buy snorkeling gear for 10 euros onboard if you’d like to take a closer look at the marine life there! 2. Hiking: the island’s unique terrains offer multiple hiking trails at different difficulty levels. We started From Sóller (30 min drive from Palma) and hiked through Fornalux and Biniaraix. 3. Check out small towns: Deià, Valldemossa, Port de Alcudia are all amazing small towns worth visiting with honey-hued brownstone buildings and unique shops and restaurants along the road. 4. Cap de Formentor: this is a famous lighthouse and cape at the edge of the island, you must take a bus at the parking lot in order to get up to the lighthouse. The windy road might make you carsick but the view is absolutely worth it once you get up there. There are so many things to do and never enough time, highly recommend spending your summer here on the beach and in the mountains! I visited this place just at the end of the season so instead of beach destination it was a citybreak for me. The city is not that big so is easily explorable by feet. I enjoyed one of the most delicious paella I have ever eaten exactly here at the main square. #happynewyear

✨First sunset and last sunset✨ This spot was so stunning we came back twice to experience it. It was the first place we came on the island and also where we spent our last evening. There is something special about watching the sunset over the ocean while standing on a mountain. Grateful for the lovely beauty of Mallorca, but are excited to journey someplace new! .
