We stayed at the meritin hotel with our friends. The hotel room is big and spacious for both of us. There is a standing shower in the bathroom. We have chosen this hotel because it is near the pandungan food street, with many food stalls, as well as the Everrise supermarket just outside of the hotel. We do not need to walk too much to buy some drinks and snacks back at our hotel. It is very convenient for all of us.

We spent four nights at Meritin and very happy with our choice. Family rooms are a bit too small but considering the price they are acceptable. The location is strategic, surrounded by lots local delicacies - suitable for couples and/or small families. Within walking distance to many good eateries, tourist attractions and Everise Supermarket. Lovely hotel at the heart of Padungan Street. Service is great & rooms are clean and comfortable. Found this hotel, Meritin Hotel, on Trip.com. Quaint small hotel but with 4 star services. Reasonably price for 4D3N, 3 pax. The room is still spacious despite double beds. Well stocked, full sized bathroom amenities. Staff has great hospitality skills & and is cheerful & friendly. Breakfast is mainly local cuisine 😋 and is very flavourful; replenished very fast too.

Great checkin staff. Hotel and room are clean. Breakfast is great! Their fried chicken is to die for. Very near to a big supermarket.

Location, location, location, the three rules of property applies to hotels in major cities as much as real estate. This hotel has all three in spades. A stone's throw to the water front and in the middle.of Chinatown with a dozen eateries within metres this is the place to be. The modern rooms aren't too shabby either. Do not hesitate to make this your base in Kuching. #malaysia
