One discovery I made at the weekend was in the sister building of the Metropolo hotel. Opposite is a residential building, where in the lobby (through the original revolving door) you can still see the list of residents that used to live here in the 1920’s, including Umrigar, a famous cricketer at the time.

1. เราเลือกเป็น Twin Room สองเตียง ห้องนอนและห้องน้ำแบ่งเป็นสัดส่วนชัดเจน มีโซนเปียกโซนแห้ง พร้อมชักโครกอัจฉริยะ ที่เราหมดห่วงตรงส่วนนี้ไปได้เลย ตรงโซนห้องน้ำจะมีปลั๊กไว้ใช้ไดร์ผมและในตู้เสื้อผ้ามีเตารีดกับที่รีดผ้าด้วย อันนี้เป็นอะไรที่ว้าวมากถึงแม้จะไม่ได้ใช้55555555555555 แอบบกระซิบว่าไดร์แรงมากกกกกกกกก ผมหนาและยาวใช้เวลาประมาณ 15นาทีค่ะ
2. เปิดประตูเข้ามาจะเจอมินิบาร์และตู้เย็นที่ซ่อนไว้ พี่แม่บ้านเติมน้ำให้ตลอดนะคะ และทางโรงแรมมีวางน้ำไว้ตรงทางเดินให้ลูกค้าสามารถหยิบเพิ่มเติมได้ด้วยค่ะ พี่แม่บ้านมาทำความสะอาดทุกวันบวกเติมของในส่วนของพวกแชมพู สบู่ ยาสระผมทุกวัน แม้เราจะไม่ได้ใช้ก็ตาม
3. พื้นที่ใช้สอยของห้องนอนสามารถวางกระเป๋าไซส์ 28 ได้สามถึงสี่ใบเลยค่ะ อันนี้ความคิดเห็นส่วนตัวนะคะ😂 เพราะเรารู้สึกว่าเรามีพื้นที่เหลือเยอะมากกกในการใช้สอย ขนาดห้องจะอยู่ที่ 32-37ตร.ม ค่ะ แต่เราไม่แน่ใจว่าของเราไซส์จริงๆเท่าไหร่นะคะ
4. มาในส่วนของการเดินทางเราว่ามันสะดวกมากกกกกกก ถ้ามาจากสนามบินพร้อมกระเป๋าหลายใบด้วย metro (Green line 2) เราแนะนำให้ออกทางออกที่ 4 ค่ะเพราะมีบันไดเลื่อน สะดวกต่อการขึ้นและเราก็ไม่ต้องแบกกระเป๋าหนักๆด้วย (ออกจากสถานีหันขวาละเดินตรง) หลังจากนั้นเวลาไปเที่ยวอะไรใดๆค่อยใช้ทางออกที่ 1 (ออกจาก metro หันขวา และเลี้ยวขวาเข้าซอยเดินตรงไปนิดนึงจะเจอรร) หรือ 4 ตามที่สะดวกได้เลยค่า

1. ห้องแอบไม่เก็บเสียงค่ะ แต่เราได้ห้องชั้นสองเลยไม่แน่ใจว่าเพราะอยู่ใกล้ถนนด้วยไหมนะคะ
2. ประตูห้องน้ำแอบไม่สะดวก แต่ถ้าคนไม่ติดอะไรข้อนี้ก็ตัดออกไปได้เลยค่า
3. ปลั๊กที่ดูเหมือนจะเยอะแต่ไม่เยอะเท่าที่คิด อาทิเช่นหัวเตียงมันมีอันเดียวแทนที่จะมีสองอันเพราะเป็น Twin room เราจองห้องผ่านทาง Trip.com เลยค่ะ😊

Location 😊 The Nanjing Hotel is in a great location, on Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street, 2 minutes away, and 110 minutes to the Bund, where you can find the classic spot to take photos of the Oriental Pearl Tower on Jiujiang Road (Photo 1). On the way to the Bund, you can see the old buildings and we also met a newlywed couple who just got their marriage certificate from the Civil Affairs Bureau (Photo 10), which was very joyful. Room facilities The hotel has 7 floors in total. If you are afraid of noise, it is recommended to stay on a higher floor. Rooms with windows face the street, and you can hear pedestrians talking at night, as it is close to Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street. The room facilities are complete, and the small living room is oval-shaped, which is quite interesting. The toilet is equipped with a bidet, which I am very satisfied with, and the water heats up quickly.

The hotel is close to Nanjing East Road MRT Station, and it takes only 2 minutes to get to Exit 1. Although there are not many types of breakfast, there are both Chinese and Western styles to meet the needs of different tastes. The room we booked this time is not big and there is no dressing mirror, which is not very friendly for dressing. I hope the hotel can install a dressing mirror.

Amazing Hotel!!! Would recommend to anyone who plan on going to Shanghai for a weekend. It's 5minutes walk from the East Nanjing metro station. It's on the pedestrian street so the taxi won't be able to drop you off infront by it's close to the street not more than 200m that you need to walk. The staff at the hotel are friendly and helpful, the room are big and clean, the bed is so comfortable not to mention the room with the bathtub. The hotel has loads of restaurants in close proximity and the Bund is like 200m from the hotel as well as shopping malls and shops.
