The only large mosque in Spain, registered as a World Heritage Site "Mezquita" 🫣💖
The Mezquita is a very rare and sacred building where Islam and Christianity are mixed. ✨ There are many things to see, such as the mihrab, the masquerade, the forest of pillars, and the cathedral. 🥳 The symbol of the Mezquita is the space between the chapels. Don't miss the forest of columns 🫶💞
When it was built, there was no technology to support such a large structure, so it was supported by an astonishing 1,000 pillars...!! It is said that a space called the Forest of Columns was created by the many columns that stand side by side. The red and white double arches are distinctive, and the dim interior lighting creates a mysteriously beautiful space. There is also a night tour, and it is beautifully lit up at night, making the atmosphere even more fantastic 🎶
You can enjoy the different sides of the place by going twice, in the morning and in the evening 🤩🧡
What did you think? 🥳
A must-see on a trip to Spain We introduced you to the beautiful mosque "Mezquita" that you should definitely visit 🫶
