#springitinerary During the Easter holiday, I was fortunate enough to visit the Netherlands during clear skies—except for the last day when I went to a tulip park, and a little rain couldn’t dampen the beauty of the tulips. Even in the rain, they were vibrant and full of life! 🌸 Transportation Tips 🚉🚍 You can use both bus and train with just your card. The NS app is great for checking schedules and buying tickets, and it offers the same price as card payments, but buying at station machines is often pricier. Museum Tip 🎨 Rijksmuseum is a must-see! Make sure to reserve tickets in advance. You can also rent a museum card for easy access to several attractions. DAY 1: Amsterdam 🇳🇱 Lunch: I arrived around noon and found a delicious Thai restaurant, NK Thai Noodles, near the Rijksmuseum. The food was fantastic, and even Norwegian friends were jealous of the flavors! Rijksmuseum: I admired Rembrandt’s "Night Watch" and Vermeer’s "The Milkmaid" and "Girl with a Pearl Earring". There are also several of Van Gogh's masterpieces, along with Rembrandt’s stunning portraits. Anne Frank House: Walking into the attic where Anne Frank hid was a poignant experience. The sunlight was shining outside, but it couldn’t reach the closed-off attic where silence was the rule. Flower Market: The flowers looked even more magical under the sunny sky. The edges of the petals shimmered in the light, and I couldn’t resist picking up a cute tulip fridge magnet. Dam Square & Colorful Houses: While I prefer the vibrant colors of Copenhagen's houses, Amsterdam’s reflections of the Central Station lights in the canal at night were breathtaking. DAY 2: Outskirts of Amsterdam 🌍 Zaanse Schans Windmill Village: A serene place with the glistening river and kayak training sessions. The massive windmills in the distance added to the tranquility. On the way there, I passed a Clock Museum, which is free with a museum card. It had beautiful, ancient clocks—definitely worth a visit! Miffy Village: Located in Utrecht, the fourth largest city in the Netherlands. I didn’t get a chance to visit the Miffy Museum (since it had closed), but I enjoyed casually wandering through the city and snapping pictures with Miffy. 🐰 #naturalwonders

How to get there: Take Metro 51/53/54 to Nieuwmarkt. It’s a short, cute stroll through the old city center. Expect to “accidentally” stop for stroopwafels on the way. 🎒Tips: • Go early to avoid the family crowd rush. • Bring an empty tote—you will leave with more than you planned. • Limited editions drop often. #Overseas parent-child travel One of the main reasons to come to the Netherlands is to visit the Miffy Museum! Miffy’s Dutch name is nijntje! And Utrecht is Miffy's hometown ~ This time I came to visit his museum. Fortunately, it was renovated and renovated just in June, twice the size of the original area!
