I originally wanted to watch the cruise ship in Yanagawa River. #weekendgetaways My impression from my visit is that it is definitely the No. 1 shrine in Yanagawa City. This is a quiet place to visit, nice for strolling about to check out the park and grounds. It is located at Kimon, northeast of Yanagawa Castle, and was built in 1826. The precincts are very large and are a famous spot for cherry blossom viewing, and there is also a ferry terminal behind the shrine for boat rides down the Yanagawa River.Don’t miss it if you come to Yanagawa.
