Barely a 10 minute walk away from the station.This is located in Tateyama, and is in one of the National Parks in Japan. Simply breathtaking scenery. Also, you may recognize it as one of the locations from the anime “Wolf Children”. It’s probably best to join a tour group if you don’t speak Japanese, as I can be a bit complicated to get here. It is only accessible via bus transfers, cable car transfers, and electric bus transfers. Well worth the visit, as you will be reborn when you come here. INTERESTING FACT: - The electric bus is the only one like it in Japan, and is actually classified as a “non-rail railway”!

Mt.Tateyama Climbing Trail in Toyama Prefecture Climb on the ridge with an altitude of 3,015 meters It is one of the 3 sacred mountains in Japan Along with Mt.Fuji and Mt.Haku This trip started in Shinano Omachi City Wake up early and take the first Local Bus to Ogizawa Buy a ticket for Tateyama Kurobe Alpine route Take the Cable Car + Robeway + Trolley Bus Go up to Murodo Station, the top of this route Starting point of our trek Leaving Murodo Station We walked towards Raichosawa campsite The camping ground where we will sleep tonight On the way, we will pass Mikuriga-ike pond A clear pond in the valley where people often come to take pictures The path is paved with stones, not difficult to walk It took 1 hour to reach the camping ground After registering, we can choose a place to set up anchor!!
