An open park was built on the original site and named "Mileya Temple Park". The garden covers an area of more than 80 mu, with rockeries, streams, lotus ponds, waterfalls, and wells. Ancient trees, beautiful trees, famous flowers, and exotic plants are planted according to the terrain, including camellia gardens, osmanthus gardens, crabapple gardens, bonsai gardens, bayberry gardens, chestnut gardens, star anise gardens, and so on. Buildings, pavilions, corridors, and winding paths, plank roads, and small bridges complement each other. In the garden, there are magnolias and cherry blossoms in spring, crape myrtles and hibiscus in summer, osmanthus and magnolias in autumn, and camellias and wintersweets in winter. The trees are green in every season, the grass is green every month, the flowers are like brocade, and the water flows every day. Walking in the garden, you can see gurgling water, lush grass, clusters of flowers, and turtledoves and sparrows living in the forest, with males flying and females following, singing softly, full of vitality. The park is located in the center of the city, with the advantage of being close to the city but without the disturbance of the downtown. The design and construction follow the laws of nature and the principles of ecology, providing Residents living deep in the city with natural, ecological and environmentally friendly enjoyment. The trees, flowers, stones and wood used to build the park are all taken from nature and returned to nature. The paths, low walls, Xiaozhen Square, public toilets, trash cans, etc. are all paved with stone slabs or decorated with exterior walls; the banks of the streams and pools are piled with pebbles taken from the mountains and wilds, with different sizes and density, and they are all natural; the benches for tourists to take a rest are either large logs taken from the primeval forest or slabs of stone taken from the deep mountains, which are slightly polished and natural and simple, and unique. On the round earthen mound planted with golden calamus, there are three or five grey stones lying like cattle and sheep, dotted with two or three fragrant woods, which simply and appropriately outline the wonderful artistic conception of vigorous trees, bleak autumn wind, withered grass and even "cattle and sheep can be seen when the wind blows the grass low". The conception is ingenious and the effect is amazing. Looking around the park, you can't see the gray and hard cement that is everywhere in other parks. There is little trace of artificial carving everywhere, and few traces of knives and axes. The unique craftsmanship can be seen from this!
