I would say Ming Garden Hotel is a pretty old building given that the facade is a little more run down compared to other hotels BUT I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised by the size of the hotel room and how comfortable my stay was. We were given a room on the highest floor but unfortunately one without a view. The bed was comfortable and large and the bathroom spacious as well. The only downside was the water pressure wasn’t strong enough and the room wasn’t as clean as I would have liked. The bathroom could do with some heavy scrubbing and vacuuming along the hotel corridors too. Parking was bit of a hassle with limited space and costing us RM 5/entry save for the first entry. However, due to the location and the comfort level of the rooms, it’s still a recommended stay for travelers who are on a budget. #2023TravelWish

Day and night view, comparing the windows on both sides of the hotel room. I like it. Although it is not on the sea, I like the view of the city. On the other side, there is a river view. It is very comfortable to the eyes at night.

stay at Ming Garden Hotel at Kota Kinabalu Sabah. It is near Imago mall and town area. Can go to Imago mall with walking distance. Room are neat and clean. I like their curtain which I can sleep well at night because no light can come in at all.

I disappointed with trip this time I book riverview but what I got is city views when I check in at the hotel . When I ask trip agent they said they are the one that wrongly advertised it on the apps . But for Ming garden hotel room it is spacious and very comfortable to stay ,

the staff so nice, good service, nice place to stay..really recommended who want to stay overnight here..bilik pun bersih, luas dan kemas saja. next time jika saya datang ke kota kinabalu lagi, saya akan stay overnight di hotel ini..suasana juga tenang dan santai..hotel berdekatan dengan imago shopping mall..hotel juga menyediakan restoran & kolam renang, boleh la bawa anak2 sekali.
