Minoh Falls was the dojo of Shugendo in ancient times. More than 2 million tourists visit Minoh Park every year, especially in autumn. The scenery of Minoh Falls is beautiful in all seasons, especially the cherry blossoms in spring and the icicles in winter. In autumn, you can enjoy the red leaves all over the mountains and plains.

#naturalwonders
If you want to feel a less crowd of Osaka, you should probably visit Minoo waterfall. Autumn will be a perfect season to visit Minoo as you will see a bunch of colorful trees on your way to the top of Minoo waterfall.
It is easy to get to Minoo by train. As long as you have Osaka Amazing Pass, you can go there free by taking train or you can use your own ICOCA for the rain ride. You can direct from wherever you are to Minoo by maps and take the last stop at Minoo Station. Then you can just walk straight to the north area to meet the Minoo Park.
Among a few temple along your hiking trail, one is the most impressive temple is Ryuanji Temple. This located in between of start point, train station and last point waterfall.
Along your hiking way, there will be a few shops selling their best snacks and drinks for you to take a rest for a while. I think you must put this as your must visit during your stay in Osaka.

Hiking in the spectacular natural scenery of Osaka [Minoh Falls]
I went to Minoh Falls in Osaka, hiking in the midst of stunning nature.
If you hike for about 30-40 minutes from Minoh Station, you can see the beautiful Minoh Falls.
It's a gentle slope, but it's a very easy path to walk on, and it feels great to hike in nature ^_^
It was a great workout.
Thank you for visiting Trip Memory 😊

Minoh Park | Minoh Falls, chosen as one of Japan's top 100 waterfalls
I went to Minoh Park where the leaves were lightly colored in autumn 🍁
The park was rich in nature and the breeze felt good ^ ^
Selected as one of Japan's 100 best waterfalls, the 33m waterfall is impressive 👍🏻
The slope to the waterfall is quite steep, so I recommend wearing comfortable shoes 🥲

The Natural Wonder of Minoh Waterfall
I recently visited Minoh Waterfall in Osaka, a breathtaking spot that brings peace and tranquility. The waterfall is nestled in the mountains, surrounded by dense forests, with fresh air and picturesque scenery. Starting from Minoh Park, I hiked along the winding path, occasionally hearing the sound of flowing water, which made the natural scenery even more relaxing. As I got closer, the magnificent view of the waterfall gradually unfolded, with clear water cascading down from a height, creating splashes and a refreshing mist. The surrounding rocks and lush greenery added to the natural beauty of the waterfall. Although it was a short hike, every step was filled with surprises. This trip to Minoh Waterfall not only allowed me to experience the power of nature but also completely relaxed my body and mind. It was truly an unforgettable experience.

A hidden natural wonder near Osaka: Minoh Falls
Minoo Falls, located only about 30 minutes away from downtown Osaka, is a perfect place to escape the hustle and bustle of the city and enjoy the beauty of nature. This waterfall with a drop of about 33 meters is located in Minoo Quasi-National Park. It is one of the top 100 waterfalls in Japan. The scenery of each season is charming, especially in autumn, when the waterfall surrounded by red leaves is like a fairyland.
It takes about 40 minutes to reach the waterfall by walking along the waterfall trail. The trees along the way cover the sky, the air is fresh, and you can also see cute wild animals such as squirrels and birds. There is also a small shop on the trail that sells the local specialty "Maple Leaf Tempura". The snacks fried with maple leaves are crispy and delicious, and it is a special delicacy that you cannot miss when visiting Minoh!
After reaching the waterfall, the clear water cascades down the rock wall, and the sound of water echoes in the valley, bringing relaxation to the body and mind. Especially in autumn, the bright red maple leaves dotted around the waterfall contrast beautifully with the rushing water, attracting many photography enthusiasts to capture the beautiful scenes.
📍 Address: Minoh Park, Minoh City, Osaka Prefecture
🕒 Best time to visit: mid-November to early December (maple leaf season)
💡 Transportation: Walk for about 40 minutes from Hankyu Minoh Station; or take a taxi to the trail entrance.
💴 Recommended activities: maple viewing in autumn, maple leaf tempura tasting, hiking

Enjoy nature and breathe fresh air at Minoo Falls.

Minoo waterfall takes quite a while to travel from Osaka and you have to transfer to several trains. Plus, you have to walk almost 2.6 kilometers to the waterfall!!
If you like nature and have time, we recommend that you come. The real nature of the waterfall may not be as big or magnificent as in our country, but the journey along the way is good. The atmosphere and environment are easy for people to walk. The route is comfortable, but it may be a bit far. There are restrooms to stop and rest along the way.
At the beginning, there is a photo spot for the red bridge, the shrine, and when you start walking, there will be trees on both sides of the road and a small stream.
At the waterfall, there are seats to sit and watch the view and there are 2-3 shops. But along the way, there are also small shops and a water dispenser. We saw elderly people walking and breathing fresh air.
Personally, it is very good. I like it. I don't feel like I wasted my time coming here.
We left Osaka early in the morning, so the weather was not too hot. And returned at noon, stopping to have a snack at the station before going back to Osaka for an afternoon meal. Overall, it took about half a day, which was just right.

Osaka, Japan, Minoh waterfall.
A corner of peace, pure nature not far from the largest metropolis of Japan. Minoh Falls is located not far from Osaka, you can get there by subway, the road will take no more than an hour from Osaka station, to Mino-o station, then walk following the signs to the waterfall. along the way there are rest areas, toilets, several cafes where you can have a snack, as well as a Shinto temple and even an insectarium, in general, you can go for the whole day, besides, a walk around the station is also very interesting. I recommend visiting! It will also be convenient for parents with children and a stroller.

Osaka|A natural waterfall half an hour’s drive from the city
Minoh Otaki is a natural waterfall relatively close to the city. It takes about 30 minutes from Umeda, Osaka to reach Minoh Station at the foot of the mountain. After another hour of walking, you can see Minoh Otaki. There are many flat sections along the road, which is also very friendly to novice hikers. , there are river beds all along the road. In ancient times, Japanese people liked to come here in the summer to eat river beds to relieve the heat. The Minoh Waterfall, which stands in the Minoh National Park, is also a popular maple viewing spot. The waterfall is smaller than expected up close, but the shop When I get tired of walking around, I occasionally want to breathe some fresh air in the suburbs. A walk to Minoo Otaki is a good choice.

🩵Minoo Falls
Manoo Falls is known as a simple trekking course,
and is famous for its beautiful autumn leaves!
I visited at the end of May before the autumn leaves turned red, and came across a green walking path and waterfall. The entire path was cool,
and when I got to the waterfall, it was as cool as if I had turned on the air conditioner!!
If you get off at [Hankyu Minoo Line - Minoo Station],
it takes about 40 minutes from the station, and there are small shops along the way,
so it's fun to go up while looking around!
They also sell fried maple leaves, but the shops are preparing to close around 4pm. I got down at 5pm and couldn't buy anything,,

Trekking to Minoh Falls, a famous attraction in northern Osaka!
Location: Minoo Falls, Minoo City, Osaka Prefecture, Japan
Minoo Falls is a famous spot in northern Osaka that is famous for various festivals such as light-up events!
When I went, they were holding an autumn light-up event.
Instead of going up from the bottom, I went down the course to see Katsuoji and then came down to Minoo Falls!
I was able to eat the famous grilled sweetfish of Minoo Falls before closing time. It was a sentimental and delicious experience, although it was difficult to eat because there were many thorns.👍

Osaka Minoh Park walking tour - Minoh Falls, maple leaf frying, and visiting temples
There is a place called Minoh City in the north of Osaka, which is rich in nature. Minoh Park is also a famous spot for autumn leaves, and it can be easily reached by train from the city. In the hot season, many tourists come to the Minoh Waterfall Trail next to the Minoh River to feel the cool atmosphere. The one-way trip from the station to the waterfall is 2.8 kilometers. Although it is in the mountains, there are few slopes and well-maintained trails, making it possible to take a comfortable walk.

Upclose with Minoo Falls
If you like waterfalls, this is one of the closest you can get without getting into the waters. This area also serves fried maple leave ice cream and end the hike with some craft beer(:
