A grand Cathedral devoted to San Sebastian located in Manila was build in 1921 by a rich and religious patron who donated both the land and money. However, thirty years later the church was destroyed by fire during a Chinese uprising. It was rebuild but destroyed by an earthquake or fire again and a few times after that. In the end in 1891 after loosing four churches over 250 years the church leaders decided to put an end to the destruction and they developed a Cathedral entirely out of pre-fab steel which is the first and only building to be constructed with this material in Asia to this day. More than a century later and the church hasn't experience not even a dent to its structure. The beauty of this church comes alive from its faulted ceilings, glimmering stained-glass and Gothic spires which inspire wedding planners to bring their clients towards to this gorgeous and strong church.

San Cestian Cathedral, Manila
Just looking at the building, it preserves the Spanish colonial style....
It feels like I'm in Europe for a moment...
However, it's a bit lacking in management (I guess because it rains a lot...) and the power lines that block the view are a bit disappointing..
