Be sure to choose the sunset time slot and check the weather in advance. It's really beautiful. The moment you step into the hot spring, you feel relaxed. The hotel staff will prepare tea and fruit in advance, which you can take to the hot spring to enjoy while soaking. After soaking, take a shower in your room, have a wild chicken hot pot, and chat for a while. Occasionally escaping the hustle and bustle of the city, avoiding crowds, doing nothing but watching the sun slowly set while soaking in a hot spring is really healing.

This time, I found a new treasure homestay, Monster Planet Homestay. The homestay is run by a designer couple, and you can feel their care and taste in every detail. I stayed in a cabin with two floors and two rooms, which is perfect for a few friends or a family trip. All rooms and public areas in the homestay are equipped with underfloor heating and air conditioning, which is probably the only one in Anji, haha. There is also a private hot spring in the room. If it snows in winter, it feels like a cabin in Hokkaido 🏡 We also booked a private hot spring on the top of the mountain, which has a great view. The warm hot spring and the oxygen bar on the top of the mountain can really wash away all the fatigue. We also booked a bamboo chicken hot pot for dinner in advance, which was delicious. In this cold weather, you can wear a shoulder-baring dress and enjoy hot pot in a warm restaurant. You can experience a different kind of comfort here for 24 hours a day. At the beginning of 2025, if you want to find a quiet place to relax, this place will surprise you!

We stayed in the Tongying room type. The room is not cramped and has a large balcony with a private hot spring. The floor-to-ceiling windows offer a view of the open bamboo forest and blue sky. Because the hotel is in the unpolluted mountains, at night you can lie in bed and see the bright stars through the roof window. It's close to the paragliding base and the waterfall cafe in Fuqi Valley. It's also about a 10-minute drive to the town. Driving is very convenient. The hotel staff will create a group chat in advance. They reply almost instantly and will help with luggage. They introduce the room and hotel facilities. The service is worth the room rate!
