The Pilgrimage to Mont Saint-Michel
Mont Saint-Michel is a renowned abbey and tourist destination in France. During high tide, the island is separated from the mainland, creating a spectacular view. Climb up to the abbey to admire the Gothic architecture and breathtaking sea views. The village shops offer local specialties, adding to the quaint atmosphere. Combining religion, history, and natural beauty, this is an unforgettable pilgrimage experience.
💞Recommended Reason: Mont Saint-Michel, located near Normandy in France, is one of the famous UNESCO World Heritage sites. This small island is made of towering granite and stands at an elevation of only 88 meters. It is often surrounded by vast sandy shores and becomes an island only during high tide.

Sightseeing in Mont Saint-Michel, France
Late February
While staying in France, I took the TGV from Paris via Rennes to visit Mont Saint-Michel. Since I stayed for two days and one night, I was able to take my time sightseeing and see Mont Saint-Michel lit up at night.
The souvenir shops close early, but the restaurants are open until around 10pm so I didn't have any trouble finding something to eat. The hotel was also friendly, polite and clean. As there are many Japanese tourists, they also have menus in Japanese, so I highly recommend it. #France #MontSaint-Michel #Trip #Travel #Tourism #WorldHeritage

To get to Mont Saint-Michel, take the train from Paris Montparnasse Station to Rennes Station, then a bus from Rennes Station for about an hour. It is recommended to make reservations in advance for both the train and the bus. In particular, there are few buses, so if you purchase on the day, you may not be able to board.

📍Mont Saint-Michel/France
Mont Saint-Michel, a unique World Heritage Site surrounded by the sea🕊️
It is common to take a bus or high-speed train (TGV) from Paris city, but since it is a little far away, it is convenient to take a local tour or optional tour👀
Once you enter the island floating in the sea, you will find a stone-paved staircase and souvenir shops lined up in a narrow space🥰
If you continue climbing, you will reach the monastery, and when you reach the top, a wonderful view will spread out before you✨
Mont Saint-Michel's specialty is omelettes🥚
The omelet is fluffy, made by whipping the egg whites well and mixing them with the yolks😆
You can do a day trip, but it is recommended to stay nearby as you can enjoy the early morning scenery without people and the sunset🤍
