This was our first time in Tbilisi, Georgia & I must say that this is one of the most unforgettable & memorable journeys in our lives as a couple. We both decided to organise our marriage in this beautiful place, one of the reasons was, I'm currently working in Turkey & my partner is working in Germany, so it's very convenient for us to travel here because it's near. The fact that the country of Georgia is also accepting foreign people for wedding events to be held in their country nor their marriage contract is valid international. So it's a good idea for us to travel with purpose too. We will never forget this wonderful experience we have had, we hope someday we could visit this country again.
P.S. Some of the places we visited in Tbilisi, Georgia, are Chronicles of Georgia, The Bridge of Peace, The Mother of Georgia, etc.

Ropeway to Georgia's Mother
The cable car, which has its boarding point in Rike Park, takes you up to the Mother of Georgia statue on the mountain overlooking Tbilisi. You can climb up to Mother of Georgia on your own using the stairs in the old town, but the fare is cheap and it was fun to look down on Tbilisi from the top. There are some souvenir shops and cafes on the top of the mountain, as well as a botanical garden. The ticket gates are automatic, so you need a transportation card. You can only charge the card with cash. Fare: 2.5 lari one way, 5 lari round trip. Boarding point: Inside Rike Park. #Georgia #Tbilisi

Mother of Georgia: Watching Over Tbilisi
#getgoing2025
The Mother of Georgia statue is one of the most iconic symbols of Tbilisi. Standing tall on a hill, she holds a sword in one hand and a bowl of wine in the other—representing both defense and hospitality. I hiked up to the base and was rewarded with amazing views of the city below. The statue itself is impressive, but the symbolism behind it really struck me. It’s a reminder of Georgia’s proud and welcoming spirit.
